how many cachet would be needed per cubic foot of closet space?

The closet is approximately 8'x10' with an 8' ceiling. The door is generally closed although there is a small ventilation vent (4"x8") located in a corner. The stored clothes are generally clean, although when one enters it after it's been closed up for a while, there is a distinct odor (not really offensive, but it is very noticeable). I was going to use moth balls but I thought the cedar might be more pleasant. I just want to make certain I buy enough to insure that what I do is effective.

You may want to start off with 2-4 sachets, and purchase more as needed.
