Hi, what is the measurement from the bottom of the metal portion (where the metal meets the wood part) to the top (i.e., the rounded part of the metal, the hook part)? I'm trying to see how low clothes will hang in my closet.

Is this a completely VOC free hanger?
1- Is there ANY VOC in the finish? 2- are there any chemicals in the black finish hardware? 3- is the Lotus wood untreated (chemical free?)

There is not finish on our Basic Lotus Wooden Hangers – they are a raw wood. The metal hooks are painted with a black epoxy paint.

Can damp clothes be hung on these without finish transfer?

There is not finish on our Basic Lotus Wooden Hangers – they are a raw wood. Nothing should transfer. That being said, we wouldn’t recommend hanging something soaking wet on them.
