There are 60 sheets on each roll on both the original rolls that come with the product and on refill rolls.

To use the flint Retractable Lint Roller, just twist the base and the Flint lint roller extends. Press the top down to close. When retracted the paper stays clean inside the Flint.

How are the tear-off strips reusable?
How are the refills 'assorted'?

If you don't use up the sticky material, maybe there is enough sticky on the strips to pick up some very light dust etc. I don't usually try to re-use the tear-offs.
The assorted at my Container Store are all one blue one and one pink one. That's why, as a guy and a guy who prefers black everything, I buy the black ones on this web site.
