Keeping plastics looking like new is as easy as 1,2,3 with our Novus Plastic Polishes. The #1 Plastic Clean & Shine gently cleans all plastics without scratching the surface. It contains no abrasive or harsh chemicals and should be regularly reapplied to maintain the antistatic, smudge and scratch resistant properties. The #2 Fine Scratch Removal removes fine scratches, haziness and abrasions from most plastics. It also restores faded and discolored plastics. The #3 Repair & Prepare removes heavy scratches and abrasions from most acrylic surfaces.

  • Use a soft cloth for cleaning or buffing - avoid using polyester or rayon

Rated 5 out of 5 by Worked well on my white Macbook I used no. 2 and no.1 to buff out the light scratches my white Macbook (late 2009). Now it looks new. It runs better than new since I upgraded my RAM and SSD. Had to make it look new on the outside and Novus is a miracle. November 14, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Product Ever Inexpensive and works like a charm. I have acrylic windows on the lanai and accidentally made a large scratch on one window. I purchased the Novus kit and within minutes, with very little effort, the scratch was completely gone! June 7, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent product We recently purchased an acrylic console and the manufacturer recommended only using Novus products to clean and protect this surface. Found them at the Container Store and purchased them and have used them just once so far with excellent results. May 27, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by even for my car headlights !!! I original got this to restore a cover top for our record player that used to had some very very had scratches, I used and started with the number 1, then 2 and 3... and wow ! it really works, removed all the stretches ! so I started wondering if those products removed those marks from that acrylic, perhaps could remove the hard water marks on one side of my car headlights that always get hit by the sprinkler and those water spots never go away and that headlight started looking very bad, so I decided to use those products on in and wow.. looks like new again ! so I used on both headlights and they looks great !!, now I use this product to any acrylic product at home with some marks to remove them... Rated 5 out of 5 by Works as promised If the instructions are followed this product works as promised. Only thing I didn't care for was the paper cloths included-I feel maybe a microfiber cloth included would have been better, that's what I ended up using. August 22, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best polish on the market We use these products at the high-end showroom I work at in Orange County, CA. This is the only product we recommend for use on high-end acrylic furniture and accessories. This polish is a serious aircraft grade polish/scratch remover and although its a bit labor intensive (what polish isn't!) and you have to use a clean microfiber cloth every time - it works! But never use paper towels as the rough paper will scratch the acrylic (this we found out the hard way). If you wish to improve the clarity of the acrylic or remove almost any scratches (with the exception of a deep gauge which would require sanding), then there is nothing that is better than this product. Its almost crazy how well it works. We use this all the time and have removed some deep scratches that I thought would never go away. I'm surprised that the Container Store is carrying this! Of course the quality of the acrylic must be good in order for it to fixable and it has to be a surface scratch. It will not remove internal fractures in the acrylic which can occur from too much pressure causing flex or bubbles that appear in low quality acrylic goods. Now that I know I can buy this here I'll just refer my clients here instead of to Novus direct. Nice to get a little sample package! March 25, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not what I expected This polish set was messy and did not completely remove the scratches. At one point I felt like I was actually making the scratches worse! I would prefer something in a spray that was easier to use and less messy. March 13, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Terrible on Plastic Drinkware I bought this specifically for polishing clear acrylic drinkware. I spent probably an hour polishing just a couple glasses and followed all the directions and had minimal success. This might work on opaque plastics but on transparent drinkware it was terrible. Rated 4 out of 5 by Renew your plastic This set is a great way to revive plastic surfaces. I used this on my cell phone and had good results. My phone looked almost new again. It is important to follow the directions to achieve good results. It takes a little elbow grease, but the results are worth the effort. May 18, 2010

Some of the plastic storage containers become dull with time, so I was wondering if it is safe to use this products on them.

Answer:
The polishes are designed to be used in acylic plastic, so we do not recommend using them on eyeglasses because the chemicals may interact with antiglare film and other treatments.
