Nice quality; many uses!I have found many uses for these boxes, besides storing shoes. So you can never have too many. I found out though that the measurements shown on the website are close, but not accurate. For a particular project I needed the precise measurements, so I had to order a larger size. But as I said, you can always find a use for the boxes, so I'll be putting these to good use.

Storage for All Your Needs, Including Your JunkWe have moved to a much smaller space after living in a 5 bedroom multi-floor house. MOVE OVER SWEATERS! :)My Confession: These sweater boxes were purchased for a completely different reason.... A place to store my ankle and mid-calf boots!
After purchasing five boxes as a trial, I returned to Container Store for additional boxes. These boxes are durable, a great size, reasonably priced, and clear enough for me to choose footwear, w/o opening every box in frustration!
Note: Great to store flip-flops as well (ohh there's the carpet) :)

litter box for cats!I have 2 cats. One tends to stick his behind outside the side of litter boxes made for cats. They refuse to use a covered litter box. So this very high sided, open box does the trick! I did set up a platform next to this box so it's easier for cats to jump in and out. Works great and allows me to have just one litter box for my 2 cats. Only complaint I have is the plastic is flimsy. Wish it was thicker plastic like standard litter boxes. The inside is smooth, no grooves. Easy to clean. Much less tracking from the litter since they have to jump out.

These Are Great For Shoes!After much research, I found these clear storages boxes to be the best solution for organizing my many shoes. I bought 30 of them to corral my shoes, which always made my closet look cluttered. These are the perfect size for ladies shoes, stack neatly and were very reasonably priced! They were even large enough for my shorter ankle boots. The best thing is that I have a few empty boxes, so I may have to go shoe shopping.

Clear Storage Boxes - Count the PossibilitiesAfter buying these a few at a time, I have bought multiple sizes in quantity now to help organize, closets, pantry, etc. I use these shoes as expected for shoes, boots, sweaters, etc., but also for craft supplies, mementos, children's toys, and I'm still exploring the possibilities. We also use them to organize snacks for easy access and findability on road trips.

great but not really consistently soI have so many shoe boxed and mens shoe boxes that I am embarrassed. I use them for everything.
Most of them are really perfect but I have perhaps 15 mens shoe boxes that are disappointing. They do not close well. I am not sure if it is the lids or the boxes but I was reminded of this problem today as I struggled to make one close... it was not overfilled.
I have many, many that work just fine but I think one case of mens shoe boxes was defective.

More than just shoe boxes!I bought a 20 pack of these storage boxes to use for my shoes and additional storage. I had a few leftover from my shoes and used in my hallway closet for misc. Love these! You can see all the products in the container and I finally have my hall closet totally organized with storage that all matches. Great buy! Would highly recommend!

Boxes for 4-5 inch high heelsI've purchased these clear boxes from the Container store before. They are the perfect size for my high heels that won't fit in the smaller size box. I like the see-through container and they stack well. They don't latch well, but that does not effect their function. I will continue to buy these boxes until I can convince myself I have enough shoes~!

Don't waste your moneyI honestly do not understand the positive reviews... the box doesn't click shut. If you want to put your boots in a tub and basically put a floppy top over top that does not secure in place -- this is the box for you.

Love! Love! Love!I wasn't sure if these would work since many of my shoes are boots. I also have wide feet. My shoes and boots are either size 10 or size 9.5 wide. I cannot pick up a pair and just set the pair into container, side by side. I do have to tilt each shoe or boot and place them opposite of each other. I don't mind this at all, there's no stuffing or forcing involved. I am used to it now and my shoes are free of dust and cat hair! They're neat and organized and I have extras. My daughters shoes were more of a struggle though, she wears 11 wide and had to put them in with one shoe facing up and the other facing down. Overall I am very happy with my purchase.

Love these, have about a million of themThese are the nicest and most useful storage boxes I've found. I've used them for at least 5 years, and keep buying more. By now, I own most of the sizes. They're useful for more than just clothes and shoes. The shoe boxes are perfect for pens and markers. I use the sweater boxes for scarves, stationary, office supplies, small electronics, toiletries, and other misc storage. Two shoe boxes stack perfectly on a sweater box, for maximum efficiency. Quality is great - they've held up fine over the years, never a problem other than one shipment which was cracked when it arrived, and replaced immediately. They're relatively attractive, for what they are. They stack nicely, and it's useful being able to see what's inside them. Tho I dislike plastic in general, I'm happy these are made here in the USA, since we have at least some minimum safety regulations. Highly recommend!
