Pros: Slim Design. I looked at several different places for a stylish, slim, stainless steel toilet brush and finally found this one. This still has the best design look I've seen.
1. Can itself rusted within the first year all the way down, all the way around the inside of the can and on the inside bottom. There is a plastic piece at the bottom which you think would be a cup, but it only goes up the sides to cover the height of the brush (~5 inches). Brush gets an ugly yellow color after a couple of months.
2. Handle broke off on one of them and it can't be fixed.
Unfortunately, I purchased three of these. And they weren't inexpensive vs. buying at a less expensive box store. I'm a little surprised that Container Store (my favorite store!) carries them - I trust them to carry higher quality products that may cost a little more, but last longer.
If you are going to buy brushes, don't buy these. I found a replacement at a box store which cost less, has plastic all the up the sides and is a cup on the bottom, and is a black brush. I don't like the look of it (style if more to my grandmother's taste), but function over form in this case.

I like being able to have the stainless steel and yet be able to get rid of the nasty brush. I read that some have said it gets rusty. I have only noticed this on the underside and it does not show. so I don't have a problem with that.

I have had this for about a year and a half. While it is pretty and cleans well...it rusts badly and is useless after that. Not to mention this is not nice on our hard wood floors. the cup in the bottom (maybe 3-4" deep) that catches the liquid after cleaning is impossible to get out and spills all over the place. When you pour the whole container over to drain it....liquid inevitably falls back to the bottom under the cup once you turn upright again. Needless to say this is totally gross and causes the rusting. This would work much better if the plastic lining went all the way to the top and could be pulled out or was completely sealed to protect the metal.

This is a very nice looking product. It cleans thoroughly and has a replaceable brush. The bad news is that the Container Store does not stock the replacement brush heads in my (local) store, and now it seems that InterDesign, the company that makes them, does not stock them online. Previously, I ordered them online and picked them up in the store. For that reason alone, I cannot recommend this product.

This toilet brush looks nice in the bathroom, but doesn't really do the job of toilet cleaning very well. It's very awkward to hold and scrub with. The scrubber end screws onto the handle and mine came off in the toilet while I was cleaning it causing me to have to fish it out with the handle part...YUCK! Overall, not the best design idea.

Needed product for our new home & this fit the bill. It is streamlined & fits in the smallest of spaces. Helped that our bathroom hardware/faucets are polished nickel. Have only had for a few weeks so don't know if it will rust like previous reviewer stated. I do plan to buy enough for all 4 bathrooms. I've never fallen in love with a toilet brush, but I do like this one.

I had this toilet brush for a year now. It does get rusty and it's hard to remove the brush from the container once that (rusting) happens. It got the job done but I wouldn't buy it again.
