Best purchase everThis origami shelf is really one of the best products i have found in a long time. It took longer to put on the wheels then to open up the shelf, which was about 2 minutes. You don't need any tools to put it together, which was great. They supplied a small wrench for the wheels. I am currently using it in my bedroom wihile I stay with my daughter until i find a new home and this shelving system is coming with me. You will not regret purchasing this item.

Great productThese shelves are easy to unpack and put together, although be sure you have headroom to flip over the top shelf wherever you are assembling it. The professional organizer I worked with on a project that incorporated them recommended that if you are putting a lot of weight on them to either anchor them to the wall or place a shim to shift the front up so the back is against the wall. Those recommendations make sense to me.
I had twoldisappointing mixups with getting the shelving, which is why I rated it lower, otherwise it would be 5 stars.

Easy SetupThis shelf is sturdy . I like the casters, so I can move it easily to see what is behind it. My only complaint is that it is is too heavy for an old person like me to set up; but that is what grandkids are for.

Has Potential to be GreatThe idea of a foldable shelf is excellent. One can use it to temporarily hold your groceries when you are unloading tons of it from your car going back & forth (it standby near the front door). Makes lesser trip. One can also use it to hold clothes temporarily while unloading from the dryer. One can also use it to hold books or folders temporarily beside your table. One can also use it in the kitchen when temporary space is needed for baking or cooking. The temporary storage is the key and you can fold and hide it when unneeded. The drawback is the wheels. It needs to be larger and industrial size for easy movement (like the metro shelves). Can't imagine moving it in carpet (coz some houses have transitions of wood/ tile and carpet.) Hope you improve on it. Thanks

Origami folding rackWhomever came up with this design deserves a raise! It is SO easy to put up and if you don't need it you can fold it down. It is bigger than I thought, but still fits nicely into the space that I had for it. Go to the store and look at it to get an idea of the size, but overall it is strong, looks good, easy set up / take down and being on wheels makes it easy to move.

Excellent choiceThis is a sturdy, easy-to-assemble utility rack. The only difficulty I had was in undoing the safety latch in order to spread open the rack, due to the tightness of the latch and my arthritic hands. Also, if you are using this in an area with a low ceiling, be sure to flip the top shelf to the other side *before* standing it up.
Is the depth of 21" accurate? The photos make it seem much more shallow

I use my shelves for storage and am able to put some pretty big plastic boxes on them. The depth is the only issue as some boxes are too deep. The Deep Sweater boxes are perfect. Two fit on each shelf with room to spare. I really like this shelf unit and now have 3 and will probably be getting another one soon.

To answer quickly without a measuring tape...I easily fit a medium size plastic container on a shelf. The square laundry basket from the container store will slide on the shelf.

which storage tubs work best with the origami shelf folding rack
I'm looking for tubs that will utilize every square inch of these shelves.
