On my 2nd litter bagI bought one of these years ago when the Container Store first opened in our city. We finally wore it out! Replaced it with a knock-off from some catalog. It was a bad litter bag -- cheap and sleazy. Now I have the "original" once again. TrashStash is the way to go.

Looks great and works very well!This trash bag looks and works so much better than a plastic grocery store bag. It does not shift around. It stays wide open for easier access but will also close completely if needed. Keeps the vehicle much cleaner tidier looking.

A Must Need!I purchased this a couple of weeks ago as I needed something in my car to throw away my trash in (other than a plastic bag). This bag is excellent quality and easily hangs right off of of the seat.

Good concept, but....Capacity is very small, and it doesn't hang or stay open well. Mine came with a Kleenex box pocket that ripped the first time I tried to use it.

does not leak!OK, so this might get a little gross, but it is something to consider. I have one of these in my car and my little boy suddenly felt sick. This little bag was easy to release and managed to catch every drop! I assumed that the bag was headed for the trash can but figured that I would give washing it a try. The darn thing cleaned up like it was new! A must for mom's of little ones.

A must have for long road tripsI put one of these in my husband's truck years ago to catch all of the snack wrappers, kleenex, etc. We always took it along in whatever vehicle we drove on long road trips so I really missed it after we sold the truck with the litter bag inside. I was glad to find it again at The Container Store.

Handy yet out of the way!In my car, this trash 'bag' hangs behind the passenger seat so I can easily reach it while driving (and of course, my kids in the back seat can reach as well). And it really holds every dumped into it, including liquids.
I often have my two big dogs in the back seat so it would be easier for me to have something on the floor of the front passenger side. Most of my trash is dry and I end up throwing it on the passenger side floor until I clean it all out, so wondering if this would be suitable to use on the floor rather than hanging off the seat to make things a bit neater.

Is there a lining, do you insert a bag, or do you clean it differently?
I do not see any interior lining in the photos and did not read anything about it the description. I am just curious if this is something that you insert a bag into prior to trash, and if not, is there already some type of lining? If it is something that you empty, but maybe spilled a drink in or food on, how do you wash it/how often?

This can has a waterproof interior lining which can we cleaned with a damp sponge. You could also use a plastic bag as a liner if you choose.

The shortest the adjustable strap of our TrashStash Car Litter Bag can be is about 9"; the longest it can be is about 23".
