Good basket but can be hard to reach intoThese are very well made. I love my InterMetro units. It would be so very useful to have these baskets on glider rails, so that one could pull them out. If they could be pulled out, then the shelves/baskets could be spaced closer together and make the whole unit more efficient. As it is, I have to leave room above the basket to be able to reach in to get things.

Worked perfectlyI have an InterMetro garment rack. All my hanging items on the rack were short hang so I added this basket just below the hanging clothes and it is perfect for storing all my sweaters. Though I may switch it to storing all my purses because it would be perfect for that too! Great function for items that really need containment rather than a flat shelf.

Love InterMetroWe have InterMetro all over our home so I already know that the products are great. I recently bought a new set of basket shelves to hold some heavy metal wheels in our workshop. The weight of the wheels was within the stated limit of the baskets but I was still skeptical. However, the basket shelves are holding up just fine under all the weight and our workshop has never looked better. I am highly impressed!

Finally -- a place for the plethora of balls!I have looked for a simple solution to storing all the sports balls in my garage. I've used buckets, boxes & nets. The problem is that you always have to dig through them to find the ONE ball that you really want to use. This basket shelf holds 4 basketballs, 2 volleyballs & 2 footballs with room to spare! Wish I would have bought this years ago!

Will any Elfa Ventilated Shelf accessories fit on the InterMetro shelf or basket shelf?

Our elfa Ventilated Shelf accessories are not designed to work with the InterMetro Shelving System. The elfa Shelving system is based on 12", 16" and 20" depth units where as the InterMetro system is based on 14" and 18" depth units. The elfa elfa Shelf Hooks may be made to work in certain circumstances, but we prefer the InterMetro Snap-On Hooks (shown below) for instances when such a product is needed. No, our InterMetro Baker's Rack has a 14" x 36" footprint and our InterMetro Basket Shelf is available only with an 18" x 24" footprint. Please contact us at 1-888-CONTAIN (266-8246) to speak with one of our Space Planners about the possibility of designing a custom solution.
