iDesign Forma Stainless Steel Suction Clock

Product Information

The iDesign Forma Stainless Steel Suction Clock is water-resistant and rustproof. Its compact size makes it ideal for use in the shower or on a mirror. Five strong suction cups adhere the clock to any clean, non-porous surface such as tile, glass or fiberglass. A single AAA battery (included) is required for operation. Our Forma Countertop Essentials beautifully complement this product.

  • Replacement AAA Batteries are available
  • To change batteries, position the clock so that the face of the clock is facing away from you. Then, push your thumbs into the suction cup area. Once the clock face pops out, you can change the AAA battery inside.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from clock I just bought my 2nd clock. Here's the deal, it does pop off about every one or two weeks. you'll hear it clatter. My old one took many, many hits before it gave it up after two or three years.. Maybe make a habit of pushing it as you leave the bathroom. Put it someplace so that it doesn't hit the floor when it pops. I have it on the mirror Keeps great time, easy to change the time and battery, looks good.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Handy little clock Easy to read, nice clean lines. Sticks for several weeks before it plops off the mirror and must be reattached. I gave them as stocking stuffers and for coworkers at Christmas.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Did not stick to the wall Liked the look and size of the clock but I have not been able to get it to stick either to the wall or bathroom tile.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible Buy This clock is horrible. I was so excited to buy it because I thought that it would help me cut down on my showering time. But then I actually tried to use it. It never stays suctioned to the wall. After it fell down multiple times I stopped putting it on the wall. I was worried that it would crack the bathtub. It also landed on my foot one time, and I promise that you do not want to have this fall on your foot. It hurts. Bad. So once I had given up on keeping this on the wall, I started keeping it on the ledge of the bathtub, but the clock stops randomly. At first I thought that it was from taking so many falls, but I've read a few other reveiws mentioning the same thing. It seems like the only way to start it again is to take the battery out and put it back in. Removing the clock from the frame is not easy to do either. Overall, I really would not recomend buying this clock.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little clock. Anyone who can't figure it out is clearly not using their brain. I have it stuck to a mirror and it's incredibly secure even when bathroom steams up. I am not worried about it falling at all.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not a great purchase Maybe I got a defective one because everyone else's reviews are good. The suction cups on the back simply don't work. The clock falls off the wall/mirror all the time and eventually it cracked and broke. In addition, the clock is way too fast.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little clock--very quiet I shaved off the suction cups, pounded a brad through the back and mounted this to my bathroom wall, so it's visible from the tub. The included battery died very shortly, but replacing it is easy. The instructions for removing the clock from the case aren't clear, but one pushes on the suction cup side. I plan to buy four more-- one as a gift and 3 for my guest bedrooms.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect bathroom clock I bought this clock for my bathroom and stuck it on the mirror--it was easy to set after I figured out that it just popped out of the ring around the face. The numbers are big enough to see from all around the room and, unlike other suction cups, these have kept it right where I put it! Great product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great! I have it on my mirror in the bathroom. It sticks just fine (sometimes a little water helps with the sticking more). If you push fro the back, the face pops right out. The reason it gets a 4 star vs a 5, is the ticking. It's not a quiet sweeping clock.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great clock, very difficult to open In order to set the time u must first remove face from the back. I have strong hands for a woman, yet ultimately gave up. My husband worked on removing the face jammed in tightly for quite some time, nearly busted his fingers, had success... ultimately. it's a great clock if u can first past the physical challenge.super nice in our shower where u never have iphone on u to check the hour to see if ur late. And to time face masks. CAUTION COLLEGE STUDENTS WITH LOW BANDWIDTH FOR INITIAL TINKERING.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great product Works just as described. This is my second one. I had my first one for several years before it broke. Helps keep me on track in the shower and Keeps me on time in the morning :-)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great idea and look, bad suction cups I used this clock and really enjoyed it for a few months. Stuck to my bathroom mirror, it helped me keep track of time while getting ready in the morning and saved precious surface space in my small bathroom. Even though I followed the instructions for successful suction cups, it still occasionally fell when the shower steamed up the mirror. After a handful of falls, it stopped working.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Simple & Good for the price I am generally skeptical of anything that suctions in the bathroom, but this little clock is easy to install, light weight and does the job. Yes, you have to press on it every so often to keep it sticking (maybe once a week or less), but its better than other options I have seen. If you want to stay on track while getting ready, this little guy will do the trick. Also, install is a breeze. Pop the clock out, press and pop the clock part back in.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Find another one This clock is a good idea but do not buy it. It kept falling off the wall until finally it fell and water got into it. The water warped the paper face clock so that the hands would not move anymore.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk Clock! Was so looking foward to receiving my clock for my Florist and it was a piece of Junk! Finally received the clock (took over a week) and it would not work, even purchased new batteries for it and still nothing. Also a lot smaller than I thought it would be! Very dissapointed! I Will not use your on-line services again. Also paid 8.50 for delivery!!!! Definitely not worth it!!!!!!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beautiful Classic Style But Doesn't Stay Attached I purchased this clock over a year ago and absolutely love the styling and size of the clock. However, the clock will not stay attached to the mirror. No matter how the mirror or suction cups were cleaned and prepped or how long pressure was applied to the suction cup frame during installation or even how many days I waited before placing the clock into the frame; the clock still fell down within a month or two. I am rather amazed the clock has not broken. It is rather loud when it falls onto the bathroom counter or floor, usually startling my cats or myself, but I still love the clock.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Suction Clock that does not work The concept of the Forma suction clock is ideal. The look and size are great. However, the suction cups do not work. The clock keeps falling down. I will return it when the clock does not recover from the next fall. I am really hoping they will recall these and replace with suction cups that work. Fingers crossed.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from keeps falling off the suction does not stay on for long. I had it fall off at least 3X since the 3 months i purchased. I have it on glass.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Does not work. I bought one for my bathroom and it keeps falling no matter how hard I press against the suction. Nevertheless, it does help me get ready faster in the bathroom since I have a clock to constantly look at and check the time. However, the suction part of the clock isn't working or it's defective. For $14 I'm really disappointed in this product; I just wasted my money. It slides down the tiles as the day goes on and by the end of the day it's already on the floor. Yeah, I'm seriously disappointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I bought this shower clock for use in my dorm room. I've been very happy with it since it seems to keep time well. The only problem is that it occasionally falls off the wall and when that happens the battery sometimes gets slightly knocked out of place so the clock stops working. Nevertheless as long as this clock continues to work and does maintain its waterproofness, it's well worth the money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good buy I've had this clock for about 5 years and it's still going even though I have had instances when I thought it was time to throw it away. At one point, The metal part that forms the electrical loop with the battery became loose, so I would have to gingerly place the clock on my bathroom mirror. If I pressed too hard, the connection would be lost and the clock would stop. This was until I figured out what the problem was and simply bent the metal piece back to form a tight grip on the battery. Also a word of caution, the suction cups are great, but they aren't super glue. Be sure to install the clock where it wouldn't sustain irreparable damage WHEN it falls ( e.g., not above or beside your toilet). Mine has fallen many times (doesn't happen often but enough over 5 years), but I always place it so that it falls into the sink or on to the counter. It's still working!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Alas, it was wonderful while it lasted I LOVED this clock. It kept time, was out of the way (took up no counter space) and looked good. Well .... it lost suction, hit the tile floor and shattered. :-( Sniff

Rated 5 out of 5 by from On Time My daughter purchased this for me for Christmas. I have attached it to my bathroom mirror to keep me "on time". I tend to lose track of time while getting ready in the morning and really didn't want a large clock in the bathroom. The suction cups allow you to move the clock anywhere you like. This item is perfect...I am very happy with my gift!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Well, it's running, but... It's not keeping the correct time. I'm not sure if it's because I pushed it too hard to stick on the wall, or what the problem is. Actually, when I first pressed it onto the tile wall, it wasn't running at all. Then I fiddled with it a bit and it did start working. Apparently, though, after I left, it must have decided to either stop working for a while, or it's just not keeping the correct time, and I really haven't had time to mess around with it. So, this is a 3-star rating, and I'm not sure I'd recommend it to anyone. But I'll keep it for now and see if I can get it to work properly (I really, really need some kind of clock in the shower with me, and I truly miss those cheap little plastic stick-on ones that were so prevalent back in the '80's.)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great item! I really like this clock and would be "lost" without it. It stays on the mirror well, is easy to read and doesn't fog up. The second hand is also very helpful. The only reason I am giving it a 4 star instead of a 5 is because it is difficult to change the battery in that the clock must be removed from the surface area and the case taken off of the frame.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bathroom Necessity I love this little clock in my bathroom. Clearly it keeps me on schedule when getting ready in the morning and it doesn't limit my countertop space as it suctions to the mirror. Only problem I found is that just like any other suction cup item, it's likely to fall off at some point in time. Tip: don't place too high up as it may crack the face.

Community Q&A

How do I take the back off?

Mine arrived assembled, and I can't get the back off to set the time or liberate the battery. I can't tell how much of the plastic backing I should be prying off, and tugging on the suction cups doesn't seem wise.

It may be counter-intuitive, but... With the clock facing away from you and using your thumbs positioned at 9 and 3, press the face of the clock out the of front of the casing. Access to the batteries and the time adjustment is now a snap!

How to unassembled in order to change the time or the batteries?

I snapped it together without a problem, but now I cannot get it open. Thanks!

Could it be mounted to the wall?

It comes with suction cups, but is the back designed to allow for a wall hanging option?
Asked by: bnf76
It is not set up to be wall mounted, but I shaved off the suction cups, pounded a brad through the back and then pounded that into the wall. Push in the clock and you are all set.
