Perfect and Multi-FunctionalI bought 10-14 of these in 2004 when I was in college. That was a lot of money, but over 15-years later... I consider them an investment and they're still perfect and multifunctional. I've moved at least 6x since I bought them and I always fine a new use for them. I've used them to organize shoes in several closets, I've used them in a linen closet to better organize sheets, tea towels, and hand towels. I currently use several of these in my walk-in-closet to store shoes, sweaters, and pajamas. These are great and still in brand new condition. Highly recommend these.

FantasticThese are absolutely perfect to hold our shoes in our front coat closet. The shoes go in and the slippers come out as we're putting our coats away.
The shelves fit together securely and do not fall apart at all. There's enough room below the first shelf to fit another row of shoes. The mesh is fine enough that high heels do not fall through.
The only negative I can see is there are no instructions provided on how to hook shelves together and someone less spatially inclined may have problems figuring it out.

Use only for shoesI bought a few of these to use as shelves in a closet for some light supplies as they were recommended to me by the store associate. After getting home, they were not sturdy enough so I returned. I am not sure they would be sturdy enough to hold shoes either?

RecommendI got these from a friend, she purchased them from the store. They are perfect for stacking or can go side by side (under the long clothes in your closet) and are sturdy and durable. The only thing I would change are the dimensions: (l*b*h)
H - perfect;
L - maybe in smaller sizes to fit smaller closets eg the coat closet by the front entrance;
B - could be made to fit shoes up to size 12 (for eg).
My shoe size is 9 and they fit just barely (they would fit 8.5 perfectly). But otherwise I love them.

Streamline shoe storageThis is my second time purchasing these particular shoe racks. The first time my husband bought me two. This go-round, I purchased 8. They work perfectly in my walk in closet since We haven’t installed a system. This keeps my shoes organized and neatly stored underneath my hanging rack.
They are sturdy and stack on top of each other with ease. I have not experienced any paint chipping with the white racks and the first two are at least 4 years old and survived a move.

Very Happy with this design!Other shoe racks I have tried were at a slope, an angle, so that flat shoes and sneakers would slide right off! This rack is flat, so all the shoes, heeled or not stay on. It was very easy to assemble, too. I bought four so that I have two and my husband has two, His size tens fit three across on each, with plenty of floor space underneath for flip flops and slippers: room for ten pairs of men shoes. I rarely write reviews as detailed as this; that’s how pleased I am. Also, I felt that the packaging was environmentally/friendly- no styrofoam!

Great for Heels!This is one of the, if not the only shoe rack that was wide enough between shelves to fit my high heels. I wear a size 9.5 /10 and typically wear 3"+ heels. My highest ones I just put on the top rack and my sneakers fit on the floor under neath. I have 4 shelves total- 2 on both ends of my closet. I would've stacked all 4 on top of each other but my closet space didn't allow it. It ended up working out anyway because I had a lot of high heels that needed the top rack. Anyway- a bit pricey per rack but worth it because most other shoe racks on the internet only have 6-6.5" between shelves and this item has a whopping 7.5" LOVE.

buy a couple or buy a bunch!i like these shoe organizers – for me they fit about about 3 pair of sneakers on each shelf.
but i guess the thing i like the most, is you can buy however many you need, and add more when you find more shoes you cannot live without!
i started out with just a few, and i just added two more. they're stacked against a wall in my closet, and they're stable, and not in the way.
if you need more shoe storage – these are great, and i think a pretty affordable option considering you don't have to buy more than you need.

AmazingThese shoe racks are amazing! I was looking for a nice sturdy shoe rack when my friend recommended checking the Container Store. I went and looked and found these beautiful racks! They are very sturdy and slim and hold up to at least 4 pairs of shoes though it's a little bit of a tight fit. They also don't take up very much space in a room unless you really love shoesâ¿ºï¸ I originally got two shoe racks but went and got another because I loved them so much.

Great Shoe Rack for the PriceI live in a small apartment in SF fans space is limited. After tripping on my pile of shoes, I decided to invest in a shoe rack. I already had one, but it was flimsy so I was looking for something more sturdy. This show rack is not the strongest but decently solid and on sale so it was a no brainer. I wear a size 7.5 shoe and I'm able to fit four pairs of shoes on each rack. They are stackable - so if you have the lateral space, stack away! I like that the front of the rack has a mesh wire so my shoe doesn't scrap the wall it's leaning against. Also, there is good height between the rack space so I'm able to store booties and high-tops and/or foldable knee high boots.

mehso I bought this expecting 8 inches in storing height underneath the self. Well because the top shelf has a "dip," it actually only has 5 2/3 inches of storage height beneath.
Because of that, I'm unsure if I want to exchange or keep.

Just what I needed!I was switching out my shoes from a giant bin every season to save on closet space, but this year got tired of it because the years go by so darn fast that it seems like no time before I'm lugging the HEAVY bin out from the storage closet again for the bi-yearly switch. Now that I'm keeping more shoes in the closet, I needed organization rather than stacking them on top of each other, which works fine for flats, not so much for any other shoe type. These are so easy, the white blends into the closet walls, and my shoes (and closet) just look so much happier now :) My mistake was only ordering 2. I need 1 or 2 more. Great product - inexpensive, but nice quality.

Awesome shoe shelfAfter having my shoes in a pile in my closet for three years, I finally decided to do something about it and bought three of these stacking shelves. I love how they can come individually or stack together to tailor to any closet, and they made a HUGE difference in how my room looked overall. These shelves kick-started a massive spring cleaning project for me and now everything has a proper place to be instead of being swept under the rug!

Works wellBought two. I have shoes on the bottom one and the floor underneath and then gave the top section to my son so that he can keep his shoes and backpack together and not just thrown anywhere so he can find them for school in the morning.

Each rack is sold separately. You decide how many tiers to use together. I use them as pictured (with two tiers) because that works for me. However, you can stack them up as high as you’d like. I think they are 9.00 per rack unless you can catch them on sale.

Weight limit?
I want to put these in my entryway and I figure there's a 99% chance that at least one of my kids will try to use it like a step stool at some point. Any idea how likely they are to break it if they do?

These shelves are only designed to support the weight of 4-5 pairs of shoes (or about 6-10 lbs.), so we would certainly recommend that these not be stepped on.
