Our Chancellor Baskets are best for lighter weight items like packaged foods, clothing, towels, toiletries, or cleaning essentials under a sink or in a pantry/closet. The smaller sizes can each accommodate up to 7 to 10 pounds of evenly distributed weight; the larger sizes can each accommodate up to 10 to 15 pounds of evenly distributed weight.

I'm also confused on how they stack. Clarify please.

I just picked up 2 medium and 2 small. I needed for the 2 small to fit perpendicular to the medium (like the 1st picture). They do not. There is a significant overlap making them not look all wrong.

I’m confused how different sizes stack?

Does the small go on the large and extra large? (At a 90 degree), is that the only combination of different size bins that can stack?
