I was curious the amount of weight each shelf can handle along with total weight for the entire unit.

When installed properly (into studs where possible and using our Elfa Wall Anchors where studs aren't present), our Elfa Shelving solutions can support up to 75 pounds per linear foot.

I was never a Lego kid. I guess I didn't have the patience or the imagination to build a skyscraper or recreate a full size model of the Millennium Falcon. So when I had my own kids and I saw their prowess for them, I was so intrigued with how they could sit for an hour and construct something fabulous.
