Perfect!I purchased these boxes to organize my jewelry, and they are perfect for that purpose! The boxes stack very nicely; and it's great that they are clear, so that jewelry selection can be done easily, as opposed to having to open all sorts of individual little boxes to look inside! I purchased plastic tweezers to use to remove the jewelry from their compartments, so that the dividers remain in their slots without disruption! I highly recommend these boxes to anyone who wishes to declutter, and then organize, their jewelry collection!

Perfect for jewelry-making hobbyists like me!I have had 3 of these boxes for a couple years now, one of each with green, purple, and blue snaps. The box is not heavy duty like the ones from home improvement stores, but it is not flimsy like the ones found at dollar stores. The box is translucent and makes everything easy to find before you open it up. One box is dedicated to findings, and I have every single divider put in for all the different sized rings, hooks, etc. Another box is dedicated to chains and cord, and I can use 4 or 5 compartments for each type of chain. The last box is dedicated to the small quantities of beads and charms that I have, whether they are large or small, the dividers can be moved around so that I have exactly enough space for each kind of bead or charm. The fact that only one direction of dividers are removable is not a con for me, particularly because all of my jewelry making pieces are generally small or otherwise would fit lengthwise inside the box. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is storing this box vertically as it is possible for the tiny pieces to fall out of their compartments. You also need to take care to choose a divider that fits snugly as some of them don't and may come loose and lift up. I don't have much of an issue with that since I have enough dividers left over to swap out. This is an excellent buy!

Not for Rainbow LoomI purchased this as part of a gift. I wanted to put a Rainbow Loom kit inside, along with additional rainbow loom rubber bands. However, the Rainbow Loom tool/template is slightly too wide to fit into the compartment.
If you just want to organize your Rainbow Loom rubber bands, c-clips, and hooks, it will work just fine. But it won't hold the template tool! Now I know why Rainbow Loom came out with their own storage box container.

Fabulous 40-Compartment BoxNear as I can tell, The Container Store is the only place to find this wonderful 40-compartment box. I have a couple dozen of these now and could not be happier with them:
* they're strong enough to be completely filled with metal nuts and bolts
* the fasteners seem sturdy and easy to open/close
* the shipment includes enough dividers to separate every single 'cube', if you wish
These met my requirements and expectations precisely. Note, though, that three horizontal separators -- making 4 rows of 10 little cubes -- are NOT removable. If you need a 2x2 or larger configuration (anything that isn't 1x...), then this box won't work for you.

Great for our school concession price boardI use this box to keep the alpha, numeric and symbols organized for our school concession stand price board. There are enough compartments to accomodate the alphabet and numbers 0-9 along with $, &, / and other symbols. Now when we need to change out the items on the board, we can easily retrieve the letters and numbers and save space at the same time. What a time saver!

AwesomeI got 2 of these containers for my beads. With all the compartments I could make, it worked perfectly. The little dividers do slide up if you're not super careful, so I just took some tac glue and glued the intersecting corners and it's perfect! They don't move and keeps me organized and keeps the beads separated.
