This is possible. If this happens, soak your ceramic cookware in warm soapy water for 30 minutes which can help remove stains from burnt food. Rinse with a soft sponge or wet cloth and sprinkle with baking soda and let it rest for about 15 to 20 minutes. Gently scrub in a circular motion to remove any stains. We hope this helps!

Use a soft-bristled scrub brush and warm soapy water to gently scrub the bamboo pieces, and then rinse with a damp sponge. Oversaturating could cause the bamboo to swell, so be conservative with the water and make sure it's thoroughly dried.

Is the ceramic portion (without lid) of the food storage containers microwave safe?

Yes, our Marie Kondo Fridge Ceramic Storage Solutions are 100% ceramic without the lid. Therefore should be fine to put in the microwave.
