Lots of usesI purchased a number of these shoe boxes for shoe storage and other closet organization. I love the boxes from the container store because unlike other storage solutions I find them higher quality, modular and reusable.
I have a new puppy and for some reason she is obsessed with these boxes! They are sturdy enough to run through the dishwasher and stand up to her puppy chewing. I have even put one in her pen. Totally unexpected but welcome surprise in the hectic early puppy days.

Clean & ClearI absolutely love these bins and they are truly functional and keep your belongings protected. I purchased 1 case of 20, and then realized I needed more so I purchased 3 more cases. The bins keep dust out and work great through the humid and rainy days that can make the atmosphere moist. Excellent find! Wanted to insert a photo but restrictions.

The Perfect Shoe BoxI have gone back to The Container Store three times to purchase more shoe boxes! I love how I can easily see all of my shoes and they fit perfectly in between a bookcase and the wall. I love how they are clear and made of sturdy plastic! I only trust the quality of these boxes and will not purchase any others. Be careful, though-- it is cheaper to buy 5 boxes individual as it is to buy the case. I asked a store worker about this and she also thought it was odd.

Consistently RecommendThe boxes I’ve had for 10 years look almost as new as my most recent purchase. The lids lock in place (small lip), reasonably priced (especially in bulk), and they last. They’re my first and most consistent recommendation for any closet reorganization on a variety of budgets.

Perfect!I was constantly having to dig around in shoe boxes to find my shoes and I have so many I would forget what shoes I had.
These shoe boxes are exactly what I needed to get organized and my closet looks 100x better. The lids stay on and the boxes stack perfectly. I got the men’s shoe boxes for sneakers and the women’s shoe boxes for flats. I will be buying boot boxes and tall boxes for high heels later.

Taking it back!A bit narrow, only sble yo pite ballet shoes! Not high enough to put 2 inch high sandals. Could not use it for my dond or husbands shoes either since they are very narrow and only fot a size 9 or 10 maximum!

Show boxes in high places, spot shoes easilyI’ve used Container shoe boxes for 20 years, but couldn’t see the shoes well on my higher shelves. I took pictures of each pair of shoes and dropped in the front of each shoe box. Now I can see all my shoes easily!
And when I switch my summer sandals to lower racks in the closet, I put the winter shoes in the same boxes, turn the box 180 degrees, and have the winter shoe picture on the other side.

Best Purchase EverI loveeeeee these "our shoe box" containers they are so neat and compact. I purchased these because I just moved into an apartment and the closet isn't huge but these containers make everything fit so well. Peacock is Dark!!I’ve used the clear versions (shoe boxes) of these for years, good basic storage boxes. colors are cool. But- Pecock is dark/opaque. Pretty, just don’t expect to see though it.

Shoe BoxI have been using these shoe boxes to store my craft supplies and projects for several years now. I began with just a few, then purchased a carton of 20. I recently purchased five more to update my craft closet storage space. They are a good size for most of my supplies. I also use the men's shoe box for larger projects. I have labeled them, but even without the labels, it's so easy to see what is in each box. My husband uses them also to store a lot of his computer supplies. One of my favorite storage solutions!

Very usefulWill accommodate most shoes and some (I mean some) shooties. I had to get the men’s container for my booties. I love these containers and have already recommended them to others. Some reviews stated that their heels would not fit and to get the men size container. So I purchased both. I have sizes 9 and 9 1/2 3” heels in some of mine w/o a problem. Turns out I didn’t need all the men containers that I got and had to buy more of these. So if you wear up to a 9 1/2 shoe, you can use these containers. If you need a lot of them then I suggest buying by the box instead of singles.

OrganizationalVery satisfied with every purchase I have made. The lids fit tight and each piece sits comfortably on top of each other.
I’m very interested in buying a box of 20 but before I do can anyone give me an estimate on what size shoes will fit - I wear a 9-9.5? Also are these boxes better suited for flats or will a small to medium size heel fit as well? Thanks!

Definitely do not get these if you are needing it for anything taller than 6 inches.
As far as shoe size, anything 7 and below should fit perfectly.

Snaps on. However, it is very easy to open and close. Box tipping over will definitely cause the lid to snap off.
