All purpose containerI bought this to hold two pounds of confectioner's sugar, but it holds only about 60% of it. It doesn't take up much shelf space and it's airtight, so I'm reasonably satisfied. It could hold pastas and tea or other items just as well.

Great for traveling with breakfast powder!I make a powder based protein shake every morning for breakfast and having the smaller sized jar is perfect for travelling with the powder on trips. No leakage!

Excellent storage containerI bought this to store my leftover lotions - the ones in big plastic bottles that you can't get out when the dispenser doesn't reach all the way to the bottom. I cut the plastic top half off the lotion bottle with a utility knife and scoop out the remaining lotion (which is a lot!) that usually just gets thrown away - such a waste! I needed a clear plastic container with a tight seal so the lotion would not get hard and dry up - this container is perfect!!! Highly recommend this product...

If the measurements listed are for the OUTSIDE only, please provide the capacity/measurements for the INSIDE of each container.
I'm interested in all sizes. I'm perplexed as to why only the outside measurements are listed, and in ounces no less...? Diameter and height would make more sense for the outside. Regardless, I look forward to learning more about these containers. Thank you.

Could one use the large container to store latex paint- possibly for several years? Other recommendations?

Water-based acrylic and latex paints can stay good for up to 10 years if never opened and kept from freezing. Leftover paints that have been opened should be closed up tightly, stored in a cool, dry place and used within two years.
