Drawers won't close properlyI really wanted the various compartments for little items so I purchased two of these drawer inserts - the 9 and the 4 compartment models. They appeared to fit perfectly, the problem is that they don't allow the drawers to open and close without significant force.

Genius AdditionI own five Bisley metal organizers, of which I purchased my first one eight years ago. At that time the interior organizers were not made. I noticed them last year for the first time, and it has made a huge impact on my organization and production. I now do not have to search through every drawer to find what I need. The organizers help you see at a glance where everything is located, and it easier to keep a mental picture of how things are organized too. It also helps me to see what I already have so I do not purchase duplicate items. Such a simple solution with a giant impact on my busy daily life.

Doubled amount of drawer space!Was able to place the 9 compartment shallow tray in my kitchen drawer over the sides so that it "floats" on top of the drawer. I can still put things underneath it so I have more drawer space now! Shallow it may be but holds more than you might think! I also bought the 9 compartment deep tray for the office and it makes the small things neat and easy to find. Quality seems good too. Only saw in black.

Finally!This morning I visited my local Container Store and while browsing the aisles, I noticed the Bisley section. I have had two silver 5 drawer Bisley's for over 10 years but the contents inside the drawers were never organized. Until now.... I bought a few to try out in different sizes and they fit perfectly. In reference to the below reviewer on how they don't fit her drawers well, you must put the liners in correctly. I had that same issue when I had organized half of the contents in the drawers, ready to put the drawers back in the Bisley cabinet only to have them not close. It's sort of a lift, press fit. Check the length and width of the drawer to make sure the liner insert in completely in. Hard to explain but you will notice that the ball bearing is stiff if the insert is not in correctly. Pull out and fix then its seamless. Worth every penny.

Great idea, but poor fitI ordered one (with 4 spaces) along with 5-drawer Bisley cabinet. It doesn't fit four of the drawers. That is, the drawer won't completely close with insert in place. It will only (barely) work in the bottom drawer. Disappointing.

I like it, but the price is ridiculousI bought the little 5 drawer Bisley file cabinet for my jewelry. I only purchased one insert because they're expensive. It works fine, but I need more inserts. They're having a sale right now (Inserts Reg $13.99 on sale for $9.99). These things work well, but they're just plastic & should not be this expensive. Couple that with the fact I don't have a store in my area & shipping is an additional $11.99. So, I like it, but it's very expensive. My overall rating is 4 stars because it's so darn expensive.

Love the stacking inserts-can organize so easilyThe trays are light and quite sturdy and the 4- and 9-drawer trays stack beautifully! I glue fabric in the bottom of the compartments and keep my vintage rhinestone jewelry collection in them.

Strangely useful!My desk was overflowing with small things-- paper clips, white out containers, rubber bands, mechanical pencil leads, erasers, business cards-- the usual suspects. I found myself digging through that pile every day to find the one small thing that had evaded the top of the stack. This little flat tray keeps all the little stuff in its own place AND I can stack two so I can put less used objects underneath and still find them when I need them! Very cool dividers.

Perfect Drawer OrganizersI didn't know what to do with all the "little stuff" in my home office and these drawer inserts saved my life..! I have the 12 drawer Bisley cabinet and friends of mine know how OCD I can be about organization. Now I have all that little stuff off my desk and neatly organized, and out of sight..!

Little Lego PartsThis small compartmentalized drawer insert is super brilliant for small Lego parts that come in the sets. We have the Bisley drawers and use them to organize (and find!) the smallest of parts. I also think these inserts are very strong and resist tearing and cracking over time and use.
We've had our drawer inserts for over a year and they've held up to regular use.
1) Which do you find more useful, deep or shallow?
2) Would any box fit pencils, pens, highlighters?

We recommend both 4-Compartment Premium Shallow Drawer and Deep Drawer Inserts as they both will accommodate pencils, pens, and highlighters. If you plan to put other items other than pencils, pens, and highlighters than deep is the way to go. Thank you for your question! We hope this helps!

I was never a Lego kid. I guess I didn't have the patience or the imagination to build a skyscraper or recreate a full size model of the Millennium Falcon. So when I had my own kids and I saw their prowess for them, I was so intrigued with how they could sit for an hour and construct something fabulous. And then we'd go on a playdate and see they had friends that were even more advanced and who were obsessed with these little bricks. Those were the moms who had the best tips and tricks for Lego storage and to avoid a meltdown from not being able to find the correct pieces and parts and also avoid the mommy tears of those little things being all over the place (not to mention the tears of stepping on one of them that didn't get corralled). These little things can really begin to take over the house - so figuring out an organization system early will not only make you super happy but it's a great way to easily begin to teach those tykes the importance of organization and clean up time.
