Adds Space to the ClosetWe have a rod hanging from each closet door in our home. One holds board games in the living room. Another has old video game cartridges and craft supplies (his and hers hobbies) in the office closet. The last one is in our master closet holding jewelry and hats and packing cubes. In our last house it was used in the kitchen pantry to hold paper towels and cans and spices. Easy to install, easy to move. Highly recommend!

Works GreatUsed this as part of a setup for our hall closet that is near our small bathroom. Was able to get all items in various baskets and holders that used to sit in the medicine cabinet. moved items out due to humidity affects meds etc. also tidies up our hall closet. Will be using same thought process to organize kitchen closet door.

These standards are really easy to hang! We already had 2 with the Elfa media racks, but our DVDs reproduced so we needed another one. The only thing to be aware of is, if you aren't getting TCS hardware, you have to make sure your screws have big enough heads that are flat

iI have used the Elfa system on the inside of my small pantry door in my apartment in order to save space for more food by having 6 or the medium basket to handle all of my spices. It works well
and looks great. The door is white and so are the baskets.
The door shut completely and so little noise or bouncing of the products within the baskets

Looks Great on White DoorBought white with over/under door brackets in white to blend with pantry door which is quite narrow. Bought the mesh platinum baskets which helps organize a whole bunch of items. Easy to see the items and to reach them. We had to shorten the length a bit with a hacksaw but we put the sawed off end at the bottom and no one can tell.

The Standard for ShelvesMy husband and I are building a new home and just outfitted our pantry with Elfa standards and brackets. Since we don't have anything in our pantry yet, we love how infinitely adjustable our shelves will be on these standards. They are heavy duty (double track) and were easy to mount. It gets expensive when you have to buy a lot of them (which we did), so you might want to purchase them when Elfa products are on sale. Great product!

Be careful if you mix and match.We've used elfa product for years - all projects based on the hanging standards via the track. This is the first time we purchased the Mounted Standards and expected to use them in a hybrid installation along with some hanging standards. The project was under a set of stairs with a long wall attached. The plan was track-mounted hanging standards for the wall and continue the shelves with mounted standards under the slope of the steps.
HANGING STANDARDS AND MOUNTED STANDARDS ARE NOT THE SAME SIZE! These are less deep than the track-based standards - so you can't mix and match these in the same project.
For the sake of clarity: all the shelves and brackets are interchangeable, and the width of the standards is the same, only the depth is different.
Would be nice if the website called out the depth difference.

Great Storage SolutionI recently purchased the pieces for the wrapping paper storage unit. I mounted it on the back of one of our doors and created two compartments for storing wrapping paper. Not only did I have enough room to store all of my Christmas paper, but I was also able to store all of the birthday/baby/anniversary paper too!

Worked WellI was very happy that I could get the standards and ventilated shelves cut to fit the space I had and to accommodate what I wanted to put on them. I wish screws would have come with the standards. I had to make a special trip to a hardware store to get them.

The Ultimate Organizing AssetThe elfa Door & Wall Rack Systems have helped me find space I never knew I had. This mounting rack is the support system for elfa baskets, which are available in various sizes and varieties. There are media baskets, which are perfect for movies, cds or video games. There are shallow baskets, which are great for any little gadgets and deep baskets, which are ideal for bigger items.
I first heard about the mounting system on Pinterest. Someone had used it for a wrapping station. How ingenious! I couldn't wait to get mine up. I have baskets containing rolls of ribbon, bows, greeting cards and name tags. I have even created a place for my rolls of wrapping paper, tissue paper and gift boxes. About 2/3 the way down the door, I installed a media rack. Then, at the bottom of the door, I have a deep basket. Insert the wrapping paper rolls through the opening of the media rack and allow to rest in the deep basket below. I hung tissue paper on the media rack and tucked gift boxes behind. It is the perfect set-up.
I mounted a rack on the back of my son's closet door, which contains his movies, cds, video games, headphones, his laptop, books, etc.
I also have one in my daughter's room. She stores all her hair and beauty supplies, as well as her electronics.
This mounting system is wonderful. No more searching for things. Open the door and there it is, at a glance. And set up takes all of about 5 minutes. It's perfect. If you really want to get organized and are limited on space, this is the way to go!

Finally, my pantry has storage!I live in an old home that has a very small pantry. Over the years, previous owners have added shelves in awkward places. I ripped out all the shelves and installed new ones, but still had many items in front of others. The elfa mounted standards pantry system creates so much space on the back of my pantry door! I couldn't live without it.

Love, love, love this system!When my husband and I bought our house, one of these was installed in the kitchen pantry. I had never seen it before, but finally figured out that it is available at the Container Store. Off I went to the store and it was awesome! I love that this makes use of all the space in the pantry. I can - jellies, sauces, fruits, veggies - and I was running out of room to store my jars! This system is perfect. I bought another one for the hall pantry, and if I need more space, I just add another rack. Thank you for solving a big storage problem in my house!

Great for smaller spacesI used three of these standards to install a double bookshelf on my studio apartment wall. I chose them because I wanted shorter standards. Also, the mounted standards are lower profile than elfa's 'easy hang' standards since they don't require a top track.
My impressions: 1) these standards are very durable and strong components; 2) they are more difficult to install than elfa's 'easy hang' standards and 3) the final result looks great.

So simple to hangThe standards are so easy to hang with quick installation and no holes. I'm the kind of person who likes to change configuration of my closets when needed. I've changed the configuration of my son's closet as he's grown and its been easy and quick. The Elfa shelving is nice looking as well as functional.
Mounted Standards are offered in lengths of 77-3/4 inches and 94-5/16 inches.

In the description of your page showing Elfa mounted standard white dual-slot rails it mentions 25, 37, and 63in sizes but the listing below only shows 77 and 84 inch sizes to select and order. Where does one get the other smaller sizes?

Can Clips be used to further secure the Mounted Wall Standards? I used the drywall anchors that came with the mounted wall standards, but the standards have started to come off the wall. Or is there something else to secure?
