Great but needs to be largerI really like the cereal dispensers. They keep cereal fresh and it is easy to see how much cereal is remaining. With square shaped cereal it is difficult to pour because the opening is small. Also, it would be great if they were available in a larger size to accommodate larger boxes of cereal.
Can these containers be written on with a particular sort of marker? (and also be erased and able to be relabeled) Or is there some sort of slip pocket that could be attached to contain a label? (dishwasher safe/reattach-able)

We recommend the 3M Scotch Chalkboard Label Tape (link below). They are easily removeable and can be erased and reused.

The 4.1 quart ProKeepers are 9" x 5" x 9-1/2" h and the 3.4 quart one from OXO is 3" x 10-1/4" x 10-1/2" h. These are made by different manufacturers so they are sized differently.

What are the inside dimensions at the narrowest point in width, depth, and height?
I'm hoping to use these as an airtight container for round spools of material that are 8" in diameter and 2.75" wide. Wanting to confirm that the indent for the grip isn't too narrow (i.e. less than 3").
