I was tired of my unruly mob of keys, as well as the hassle of trying to get just one off when having work done on my car. This no-plastic (yay!) key ring has plenty of separate hooks, all easy to remove when needed. AND a "main" hook - which is ending up to be pretty handy - I often stuff my keys partially into my pocket, but now I can hook them to my purse and have quick access without digging!

I've had the plastic version of this keychain for over 2 years, but recently a couple of the hooks broke off. Luckily, I didn't lose the keys. I was very glad to find this steel version!

I bought this because I could easily separate a key when I needed to just give out a specific key, such as car keys to a shop, or my shed key to a relative, etc. It works beautifully. I have no problem with removing keys when needed. The metal is substantial.

So many times I needed to separate my keys for one reason or another . For example when you go to repair your vehicle. I don't want to leave my entire key-chain. But now it's easy to just take off my car key and leave it for the mechanic without having to give them my house key.

I was very excited to get this since regular keyrings are so hard to get keys on and off of. I immediately took all my keys off my old ring and put them on this one Friday night. It's now Thursday and my mailbox key, which shares a mini-clip on the keyring with my house key, has fallen to the ground twice when I used the house key to open my front door, and my car's ignition key came off its mini-clip when I took it out of the ignition (once for sure, maybe twice). Perhaps it's just something about the way I am handling my keys, but if it happens again, this will be going back to the store. The materials seem sturdy, but so far the easy-open aspect appears to be TOO easy! Hung on a hook somewhere it would be fine, but I'm not convinced it will work as my daily key ring.
