Simple storage
I love the clear shoe storage boxes. I use them to hold the kids crayons and markers. The drawers are easy for the kids to use and are stackable. I just used a couple for my daughters hair ribbons and elastic bands. Reasonably priced and you can see everything stored in them with a glance.

excellent drawers
I bought three of the smaller sized drawers to store some desk/craft stuff. One drawer is basically completely filled with bottles of liquid tacky glue, and it still slides easily with very little effort, much to my surprise. I had initially put all the glue bottles in the drawer out of curiosity, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that it still opened/closed easily.

Great Product!
I purchased these drawers to use under my sink in the kitchen. I use them for my dishrags and scrubbies. They are sturdy and i would buy again.

Dimensions are not accurate
The dimensions listed are 7" x 12" x 4", but the length is actually 13'' with the plastic handle to slide out the drawer accounting for the extra inch.
I have a very shallow closet where I was planning to use these, and the extra inch just doesn't work for me. Wish this had been advertised correctly.

Great storage option
I bought a combination of the large and small shoe drawers to put under my bathroom sink that does not have a undersink cabinet. I was in desperate need of storage and have had other solutions that did not work well, I now found the perfect solution. They fit all of my toilet articles, I can see everything and they are now well-organized. When I get a undersink cabinet, I hope to be able to use these drawers in the cabinet. I also use some in my closet for my storage of craft items and they work perfectly for that use as well.

Wonderful for bathroom shelves!
These are perfect for organizing the shelves in our bathroom closet. We ordered 6. Each drawer holds different items: oral care, skin care, shaving needs, contact lens care, etc. Our shelves look great and our items are organized! Clear plastic makes it easy to spot what we need. Love the drawer style, it allows me to stack them, and when I want an item I do not have to unstack and then take off a lid, instead I just pull out the drawer! High quality, thick plastic. No cracks or nicks. A+++

big enough for platform shoes & most hosiery packs
I used to by the smaller boxes for my shoes but the shoes with platforms don't fit in them.
Most of my platform shoes do fit into the men's size drawer but I have a small foot -- 6.5 - 7.5 -- and I don't think a bigger shoe would fit.
Container Store -- get with the program and make shoe drawers that fit today's shoes!
I also use these to store my hosiery. The package most tights come in fits in the large drawer perfectly width-wise. In the front of the drawer, I store the tights I've opened, each in a plastic baggie. I usually buy 2-3 of each style in case I run them and I like having the 'replacement' stored where it's easy to find.
I can get 12 pair in each drawer -- 4 open and 8 still in the package. When I open any package I cut out the picture and the fiber content and store it in the baggie with the hose.
The insides of the drawers is fairly smooth and snag-free but the outside is covered in some kind of oily material to make them slide easily. I wipe off as much as I can because I don't want to get it on my clothes. I especially don't want to get oil on my shoes!
The price on these is too high. I buy them because there is no alternative.

These show drawers are the best
First of all, for those people saying that the only footwear that fit in these drawers is sandals, they are not putting the shoes in correctly. These are exactly the same size as a regular shoe box. I have several different size shoes, including ones with three inch heels and they all fit. They have to go in the same way they come in the shoe box.
For my shoes with heels four inches or higher and clogs or booties, I buy the larger size and they fit perfectly. I use the shirt drawer for boot. These are amazingly sturdy (for the reviewer who thinks they might be fragile) I've knocked them over several times and they have survived in one piece. I have an old house with small closets and have them all stacked up on a closet and they are just amazing. I've never been so organized and they make finding shoes in a somewhat small, dark closet a breeze.

My favorite shoe storage
I have been using these shoe drawers for about 4 years now, adding more and more as I acquire new shoes. I even moved across the country with my shoe drawers. I like to take good care of shoes, and these provide a nice, clean, viewable way to store my flats, sandals and some heels. Like another review mentioned, bigger shoes do not fit in the smaller sized drawer. I have both sizes. The larger one fits my 4-5" heels. The smaller ones fit my 1-3" heels well. I wear size 9.5-10. Keep in mind it's not only the size of your shoe but also how wide the shoe is - some are just too wide for the smaller drawer. The drawers are a little bit oiled, so that they open and close smoothly. Since I have been using the same ones for almost 4 years, I can safely say they still open/close as they did when I first bought them. As in my photo, I have 10 stacked on top of each other. I think that 11 or 12 is the maximum. I think I will stop at 11 high. I also use the larger size for belts, scarves, underthings, tights, etc. I have also purchased the larger drawer (sweater drawer?) that comes with dividers - I use that to organize other accessories as well.

Very Satisfied, good quality for great price
I'm very satisfied with these drawers. I'm the receptionist where I work and I'm using these drawers to organize office supplies in a closet. They're great! They stack well and I really like that they're see-through. They're not really high-quality (see next paragraph) , but for $7.99 they're much better than I ever thought they would be.
Only problem: They didn't ship well. One of them arrived broken, which was disappointing, but The Container Store refunded my money, no questions asked, which I liked too.

BEST PURCHASE EVER
I love my shoe drawers. My shoe collection was out of control. I had tried other organizational items throughout the years, but was never really happy. I am finally able to see every thing at once, and each pair of shoes has it's own "home"! If I need expansion, I can just buy another shoe drawer. (or more!) and it will always work. I also bought some larger versions for gym shoes. I am very happy with this purchace, and should have invested in these long ago.

Easy access & multi purpose
I have used these Clear Shoe Drawers in my closest for several years. They are very convenient and keep my shoe collection dust free. I find them good as storage under vanities for small items like makeup and samples. I recommend them to friends and Closet Designers. Thank you!

The Good and the Bad
I believe this shoe box came in three different sizes. I bought ten of the smallest shoe box for $7.99/box. The one thing that I liked about it was that it was glassy and see-through. However, for that size, it fits on average your flats and sandals. It most likely will not fit any other shoes besides that and you'll have to go for the $12.99 shoe box that would most likely fit the other types of shoes such as sneakers and boots. The plastic is sturdy, but yet also very fragile if you were to accidentally drop or knock the box over, it will definitely break in half or chip off somewhere. The drawers also slide very easily out on its own with no stopper to keep them from sliding out on their own. I pulled out the top drawer and the middle drawers slide out on their own because it is just that slippery and they don't stay shut very nicely. They do stack up, but tumble easily if you accidentally bump into them. With all the cons, they are so far the only shoe boxes that have met some of my expectations so I will have to live with them and tolerate them for now.

Tada! It's magic!
I’ll confess. I have settled for substandard bathroom storage. Shelves are great and I had plenty. But over the years I’ve noticed the tendency for clutter to spontaneously generate on those shelves. Masses of makeup, castles of containers, and bundles of bottles. I tried to organize with baskets and trays only to conquer one problem and give rise to the next.
With the memory of many organizational defeats looming I resolved to take measurements and ordered these containers. Suddenly the mass of makeup yielded and a truce towards more functional living was drafted. The stuff magically disappeared into highly visible but instantly organized boxes. It’s almost like closet lingerie—that little something special when I open the door.
Where were these containers all my life? Obviously hiding in a store that does NOT have a branch in South Carolina. Pity, as I’m finding functional solutions for problems I never realized I had. Even with the shipping from Texas, the package arrived promptly in less than 3 days . The items were securely bubble wrapped and further cushioned by environmentally friendly brown kraft paper.
Back to the drawers. I gave them 4 stars as the drawer portion is about ¼- ½ inch too short to accommodate most three ounce bottles upright. Otherwise I call them perfection and love that they are designed to stack. I will be back.

Disappointing
WARNING - the small size is very small ! I ordered 30 thinking they would be a great way to organize my shoes in my new home. WRONG. These drawers are NOT tall enough for most of my shoes. It is the back of the shoe or the heel that is too high. I wear a 5B so length is not an issue. I do not wear heels so I am talking flats - casual shoes. The only type of shoe that fits is sandals. They would also work great for children's shoes up to a size 1 or 2 youth. The description is misleading - so NO I would not recommend to a friend or stranger.

Perfect!
I use these drawers to store shoes as well as lingerie (in separate drawers, though!). I keep them on a high shelf in my closet, so when I need something, I pull out the entire drawer. I don't need to get out a step stool because the drawers slide in and out very easily. (I also don't put anything heavy in the drawers -- they aren't suited for that). They've lasted a long time, and I really like them.

The Shoe Drawers That Changed My Life
Okay, perhaps I'm being dramatic, but hear me out. I have a 2 foot wide, 2 foot deep closet (I know ladies...gasp,). I also have a penchant for shoes. You do the math. It was getting ugly...my precious footwear in a state of disarray, gathering dust and creating clutter. And you know what they say: messy home, messy life! I tried standard shoe racks- too clunky. Hanging shoe bags? No place to hang them on sliding doors. What's a shoe-lover to do? Buy these boxes- now. Three rows of six, stacked ever so neatly. I can see every pair...and easily get to them. The best part? It created more room in my closet. Guess that means mama needs a new pair of shoes.

Great toiletry organizer
My linen closet is a bit on the narrow side, so I was looking for a set of drawers that would make it easy to access first aid materials and extra toiletries. These work perfect, because they slide out and I can see everything in them and they are the perfect depth.
I minor drawback is that they slide around a bit on the metal closet organizers. As long as we have something a bit heavier on top to anchor them, it isn't a big deal.

Marvelous little gems!
I need to save my pennies because I want to create an entire wall of these gems in my closet!! I initially bought 4 of these to help organize the piles of light bulbs that have somehow accumulated in our house. These are excellent.. Love love love the following...
-- crystal clear; makes things super visible.
-- they glide beautifully; don't have that "cheap" feel, no resistance.
-- drawers are squared up; I get tired off the traditional plastic storage boxes/bins that are angled outward. gets on my nerves.
-- they look SOOOO neat, and dare I say upscale, when stacked & grouped together. They almost have a sort of 'custom' look to them.
True, if you need several it's gonna set you back into that 'investment" price range, but honestly, it's worth every penny.
ONLY negative i can think of is that they ARE kind of thin (well, the frames are; the drawers themselves are ok), so you can't "manhandle" them, but they're made for stacking & simply sliding in-n-out, not moving them around like you would traditional lidded boxes.

AWESOME FOR WEEKEND ORGANIZATION PROJECT
I purchased approximately $50 worth of clear storage boxes to organize my pantry. After this small investment, my pantry looks amazing. My next goal is my closet. I was awed by the impact with so little money. This is definitely an organizer's dream!!!

Wish I got them sooner
For years I have always kept my shoes in the original shoebox. But, when you have a stack of 10 and you need to grab the second from the bottom. You end up having an avalanche of shoes and boxes.
I purchased both sizes of drawers. Both sizes stack nicely on top of each other. I can see what's in each drawer easily. Grabbing shoes from the bottom stack is no longer means a big clean up or a safety issue. This the best solution!

Multipurpose Use...
Overall great product that hubby and I love...The uses are endless...I store makeup, hair products, etc..and hubby can store his clippers, and what nots. The best thing is that the dead space at the back of the cabinet is now being used.

Everything in One
This clear, plastic, spacious container is great to store shoes in. I recently went to The Container Store a few weeks ago for the first time and bought a few of these boxes. They are amazing! Although they are made to hold shoes, you can store anything in it. It has great quality and a nice appearance. If you have multiple ones, they are great for stacking. It makes everything you have look clean and organized. It has made my life so much easier!

really love these drawers
I love these drawers - it makes it so easy to find the pair I want and get it out without having to move any other pairs. The only downside is that the regular shoe drawers weren't quite deep enough to fit a pair in sideways - I had to buy the men's shoe drawers to fit my shoes in - and I only wear a size 9.

Versatile
These bins basically saved my under-the-bathroom sink mess and bathroom-closet mess. I use them to organize 1) make-up, 2) sunscreen bottles, 3) contacts and spare solution, 4) cue tips and cotton balls, 5) extra toothpastes, brushes, and floss, 6) medicines. Like others have said, they stack great, and the pull-out small drawer is the perfect alternative to rummaging through dark, low-down areas like under the sink. I find both sizes very useful.
