Take notice. You’re simply NOT going to be able to schedule ALL your classes for the afternoon. But early classes won’t be a problem if you use a little pre-planning and organization. You CAN survive even if you are not a "morning person."
Shaving an extra 10 or 15 minutes from your morning routine gives you the option of catching a few more Z’s. Figure out what you’re going to wear the night before. Pick out your accessories and hang them with your outfit. A shower caddy is a must for keeping your soaps, shampoo, conditioner and razor together and speeding up your trip to the shower. And you can avoid the “just rolled out of bed” look by mastering a few quick hairstyles like a casual bun or braid.
Don’t let missing keys, homework or books slow you down. Create a drop zone by the door using a few bins and a wall rack. Hang your keys and jacket on the hooks and keep your backpack, handbag and anything else you need for the next day in the bin.
Caffeinated drinks can help, but the best way to maintain your energy level is by fueling up with a quick cereal bar, yogurt or banana. Even a cold slice of pizza will help get you going and is far better than nothing. Best of all, these foods can be eaten on the go!
