Good magnet board I wanted to put up a magnet board in my kitchen that matched our hickory cabinets and these work well. Regular magnets do not really work well on it because of the veneer covering, but the magnets that come with it are very strong. I have not used it as a message board yet, and am a little afraid to because I don't want to ruin the woodgrain look of it. But I can put a notepad on it if needed to put notes on. November 21, 2010
Bamboo Combo Board This is a great item to attach all sorts of small notes. The magnetic property lets one stick up time sensitive slips, coupons, etc. As "stuff" changes the more permanent notes can be replaced with updated info. March 3, 2012
Bamboo Veneer Combo Board Daughter (22) bought this board for reminders-and loves it-not to mention the exterior looks of the board! August 27, 2012
Fool your friends and relatives! This blends into our oak cabinets VERY well. I've had many ask how I can get magnets to stick to my wood cabinet! Thus, this isn't intrusive except for that which is stuck to it. If you have small children, you may want to keep this in mind when you "write on the wood". March 18, 2013

I bought some bright dry-erase low odor markers to go with this board from expo. Now I can't get the writing to wipe off -- even adding water! I don't want to damage the veneer. What should I do?
