Great functional jars for everything! I purchased two of the smaller jars during my spring cleaning project. I decided to use them within my newly organized linen closet. The jars helped to organize unattractive boxes and bags of q-tips and cotton balls into beautifully labeled sealed jars that are more convenient to access. I would highly recommend purchasing these jars and thinking out of the box for what you could use them for! April 14, 2014
Fantastic Quality - Great Price I purchased four of these jars in various sizes to store rice, beans, etc. in my pantry. I'm so glad I went with these over plastic storage jars. They look great and keep my food super fresh. I'll definitely be purchasing more of these! April 13, 2014
Reusable and beautiful I purchased these glass jars in several sizes because I am trying to minimize plastic and disposables in my life. These fulfill both - and are beautiful into the bargain. I also like that I can take them to the grocery with me to store bulk goods directly without the need for plastic bag. Great price too! April 8, 2014
Attractive Storage We use these jars for storing several kinds of rice and other grains in the pantry, and as a cookie jar, as needed. I have them in two sizes, and their square shape makes them fit well on shelves. March 29, 2014

What are the differences between the two lines of jars? Do both styles provide the same amount of protection and seal? Is jar type better at sealing certain types of goods? Thanking you in advance. Carla

Answer:
Both jars are made by the same vendor, and there is no difference in the quality. It is more of a difference in aesthetics. The French Hermetic Jars tend to be better for jellies, sauces, and any food items that require a spoon or fork for removal. The Hermetic Jars are better for liquids, soups, or finer particuled food-items since the mouth is smaller.
