Moth-Tek® Packets

Moth-Tek® Packets

Moth-Tek® uses the same proven moth killing ingredient as found in No-Moth® - para-Dichlorobenzene. The contents (in tablet form) is enclosed in a unique space-age paper that allows a steady flow of the protective vapor to escape while it prevents you and your clothing from coming into direct contact with the chemicals. Use one box of Moth-Tek® packets for every 25 cubic feet of confined storage space. Spreading the individual packets liberally throughout any storage space will ensure uniform protection. These are great for trunks, drawers, storage wardrobes, storage boxes, clothing pockets, hat boxes, etc. to protect your clothes, blankets, hats and sweaters.

BEST PREVENTION FOR MOTHS have used these for two years now and haven't had any moths since! won't use anything else. July 27, 2010
less trouble with moths Since I started using the chemicals, fewer moth holes have appeared in my clothes. Strong smell at first. Doesn't linger on clothes. Pleased with results. March 18, 2013
Be sure to air out clothing and check for bugs too I use these and the lavandar sachets regularly but even after laundering or drycleaning, they do not kill everything unless items are stored for a long time inside airtight containers. Be careful, when removing items to be worn immediately: be sure to hang and air out clothing for at least an hour prior to wearing and make sure that you are completely dry prior to wearing stored and aird out clothing. If you don't allow ample time tor "air out" of cloththing, sheets, etc. OR after bathing you are not 100% dry, when clothing makes contact it stings like mad in 'delicate areas, something not realized immediately after being dressed. If in a hurry be sure to wait 10- 15 minutes before leaving house, or you will put on quite the show. Also I've been told that the scent lingers on for quite a while. To help alliviate problems mentioned about I place packets and sachets inside baby socks or terry wrist bands for storing anything that will be in close contact with skin once removed from storage. .
