There is no comparison. Great for Garage Storage I have two sets of these shelves in my garage and one in my sewing room for fabric and projects. They are great for storage of all sorts of things. We store boxes of light bulbs, plumbing and electrical supplies, tools, out of season clothing, gardening chemicals, etc. The shelves are strong and never sag under the weight. They are not difficult to install. And if your needs change it's easy to reconfigure the shelves to change how far apart they are or add more shelves. They don't collect dust like solid shelves do. The shelves come in different depths so you can choose the size you need depending on what you plan to store on them. All in all Elfa shelving is a very satisfactory, well designed product.
