J. K. Adams Large Wave Knife Tray - Awesome IDW-08 My knives are stored safely & child-proofed into a drawer now!! I've reclaimed my counter top!! This knife block is made in the USA with Solid Ash wood. Well worth the money!! I looked at buying the Wustohf or Henckels knife trays, but they are made in China and are not as solid as this one from J.K. Adams. This is discontinued model (IDW-08) which is 17in Deep vs New Model (IDW-14) that is 13in deep. This model holds longer knives and the handles sit better than new model. I have Cutco & Henckel knives, and they fit perfectly. No handles sticking up or anything. Holds a sharpening steel, 6 long knives & 8 shorter knifes. Slotted knife tray that is easy to keep clean. great kitchen product I purchased the knife tray to try and give my counter more space. I am thrilled.
