PEVA Garment Bags

For years we've carried PVC (polyvinyl chloride) storage bags in a range of sizes and styles. They continue to be some of our best-selling items and are classic products for The Container Store. Now, we're introducing bags made of PEVA (polyethylene vinyl acetate,) a non-chlorinated vinyl in all the same sizes and styles. Because it's chlorine-free, PEVA is considered better for the environment. And, PEVA has the same great clarity as PVC.

Good quality, be reasonable in your expectations I purchased several of these in different sizes for off-season storage of coats, clothes, and costumes in my basement. I'm really glad they've got bottoms, to help keep out any potential pests. The hanging bar is reasonably sturdy, but I plan to reinforce it with picture wire, because I'll be using it to hang some heavy items like multiple winter coats all in one bag. The longest bag is the right size for my long winter coats, and just-fits onto the Metro and InterMetro garment racks with their shelves set farthest apart. The bags were easy to set up, and I love the clear plastic to be able to see what's in them. April 30, 2013
