Wendel 5-Shelf ÿtagère
Not best option
This was purchased for a dorm room. The sales associate warned us that when they assembled it the shelf chipped- sure enough when we assembled it the shelf broke. So, I don't think it's a practical option.

This was my first Container Store purchase, and I was very surprised at and disappointed in the quality. The shelves are attractive, but the units are so flimsy that we couldn't assemble them or anchor them to the wall side-by-side so they'd be symmetrical, no matter how hard we tried. (See picture.) One of the side supports broke immediately, but the instructions say that replacing parts requires contacting a 3rd-party -- the manufacturer -- which would take far more time than we had. The main problem is that the holes drilled into the shelves are too small to easily accommodate the supports, so assembly was incredibly difficult.

I purchased two of these shelves. They look great and hold a ton of stuff. They were a little hard to put together because the holes were a little small and they had to be shimmed on the bottom, as they tilt forward. Luckily, my husband is a pro at this.

Finally getting it together
It has taken a couple of years, but my basement space for calligraphy and quilting is finally "together" The Wendel shelves allowed me to pickup the last of my plastic boxes and place them nicely on the shelves, easily accessible. I put it in my "office closet."
