Snappy toucan This is the best stand alone paper towel holder I have ever bought. I got it for a friend who has limited mobilty and she is able to use it without any problems. Easy to load with the flip up toucan bill and the bill also holds the roll in the stand so it doesn't come off. The base is heavily weighted so reaching for a towel doesn't pull it over A winner all the way around!!!! March 18, 2013

An average paper towel holder While the holder is solid and has a heavy base, the pivoting head does not seem to have much weight to it, so it looks and feels flimsy. Also, the end of the paper towel roll does not stay wrapped around the holder because there isn't something keeping it on the roll. I didn't realize that that would be an issue for me, but it was so I returned it. October 9, 2012

One-Handed Wonder! The weighted base makes a ton of difference! Every other towel holder has tipped over! And the best part is that with one hand, you can catch the loose end of the toweling, pull up and you get one or more sheets to get the job at hand done. The holder stays put without the worry of it tipping over. And, it looks very nice on the counter with that cute tucan top. I plan on giving as a gift because mine works so well.
