6-Compartment Vitamin Dispenser
This container seems like a great idea -- until you use it. IF you can get the top off, you have to make sure everything aligns perfectly. Contrary to the description, some of my larger pills/supplements would not fit through the holes. Larger pills get stuck in the hole if they are turned just the wrong way. Provided labels are useless unless you are taking those particular supplements. Taking two that look alike? Better have a label maker handy. These are MUCH larger than you might imagine -- definitely not to carry in a purse or use for travel. And you'll have to keep your bottles for refills or make a list of prescriptions for calling in to the pharmacy. If you take many prescriptions, this takes much more time to shake out each thing you need. I set one up for morning and two for evening. What a time commitment. Much better to set up a morning/evening weekly pill box -- one set up, once a week, access to all pills at once and great for travel. These are going back!

This is my third Vitamin Dispenser that I bought. It is very useful and I take it with me on all my trips. The only down side is that the top does not come off but I can fit all my vitamins in, even the big one. It is a little trick to get them out, but nothing too complicated. Over all, I think this dispenser is a great idea.

Could be better...
I've purchased two of these, in spite of my criticism. It's a great way to organize your vitamins, but the ease of using it can be lacking. The top that you turn to move to the next vitamin is 'dry' and hard to turn. My solution is to line the lid with mineral oil, and that lubricates it, making it much easier to use. It should be made so that it turns with ease, and not have to stubble with turning it. But it's only 4.99, so I don't mind having to tweak it a bit. I'd buy another, because it is a great was to organize the vitamins.

I was concerned to buy this online but am happy I took the chance. Bought for supplements/vitamins. Take a couple that are "horse pills" so was concerned about fitting through the hole. Does fine. They get a little stuck from time to time, but I just shake back down and do again with no problem. Nice sized compartments too (easily fit a month's worth of prenatal vitamins in one). It's a little big but nothing compared to all the bottles I had sitting out. (I can never remember to take them if not on the kitchen counter!)
