Excellent for Overseas Travel I have done a lot of overseas travel, much of it to developing countries, where luggage is notoriously mistreated. But, let's face it, luggage gets abused everywhere! I investigated this locker carefully, checking dimensions, searching out reviews (both here at ContainerStore.com and at other sites on the Internet), and studying it carefully in the store. I finally made the purchase of two of these. I waited to review the product until I'd made my trip. I packed both trunks nearly to the weight limit (~48 pounds). I added a luggage strap to each trunk for additional stability and bought Master TSA locks with a longer stretch (because the locker won't take the normal luggage lock - it's too thick at the place where you put it). And I held my breath... I need not have worried and I probably didn't need the luggage strap. The lockers came off the baggage claim belt looking no worse for wear. I was concerned because this locker is lightweight - only 12 pounds empty! But, it held together well. And because it's light, more of the weight can go to the things you want to take on the flight. I am going to buy 2 more of these because the product is that good. I highly recommend it! May 2, 2013

Best Solution for College I bought two of these trunks after reviewing the piles of "stuff" my daughter had laid out to bring with her as she left last fall for college. Everything fit perfectly and the wheels proved indispensable as we transferred her belongings to her room. BUT NOW, as we face bringing her and her stuff plus her additional items collected over the year, not only am I thankful for how well-made and light weight these trunks are, I'll be heading to the Container Store for a third one to make packing up to come home as easy as packing up to go to school was.
