Digital Luggage Scale I bought this for an upcoming trip so I'll know if I've packed more than 50 lbs of souvenirs on my return. I've tested it on a few sets of luggage at home (with random items thrown inside) and seems to work great. It is a little tough to lift the luggage as the directions indicate, but fortunately it gets a reading pretty fast. April 26, 2013

Very Inaccurate I got this luggage scale and used for both checked luggage and some additional luggage we were shipping. While it was easy to use, it was off by 4lbs on one of the checked bags and 8lbs on the second. It was also several pounds off on each of the pieces of luggage we shipped. The end result was that we had to pay a $75 overweight fee on the trip out and had to ship back significantly more than expected to make the weight limit for the trip back. (It was again off by about 6lbs per bag as compared to the airline scales on the trip back, but we had packed extra light in anticipation of that given our experience on the flight out). Faulty Digital Luggage Scale It doesn't matter whether the luggage is heavy or light, the adjustable strap on the digital scale slips out of the buckle every time! I had to finally give up and return it to the store. March 18, 2013
