11 gal. Step-On Trash Can
great for the price
The pedal makes it so convenient and I live how it conceals the trash bag when closed. Def worth the price.

Great Functioning Product
We use these trash cans in our Early Learning Center. We have been using them for 5 years. We had a problem with the clips breaking on the lids when changing the bags but that has since been resolved as the company advised us as to the correct way to put the lid back on.

Lids break too easily!
I have 8 of these trashcans in my childcare facility and everyone of them has a broken lid. We've only had these cans for one year! The children range in age from infant to 12 years old and (most of them) are not too destructive. In my estimation, the lids break when the teachers are changing the trash bags daily. There are clips inside the lid that are weak and break easily. If your looking for a great looking trashcan, without a touch-less lid functionality...this is a great can! Otherwise, it is just frustrating!

Just what I was looking for.
Our old sturdy plastic kitchen step-on can finally took a hit from a three-year-old.
It had lasted twenty years, and when the pedal broke I began looking for a replacement.
What I was finding was heavy, expensive, metal needing polishing -- whatever.
We needed something to open with a pedal when our hands were occupied with drippy stuff, something lightweight enough to move around the kitchen to be close to big, messy tasks, and something that didn't require a hefty bank withdrawal (just for a kitchen garbage can!)
After about two years, I found this white Sterilite step-on can, which is just the ticket. It's taller than our old one, which is nice for more comfortable use, but that does make a minor problem too, because some brands of tall kitchen garbage bags are about an inch too short for the can. I solved this easily by putting a small piece of wood in the bottom of the can, which raises the bag enough to fit securely over the lip of the can. This can probably won't last 20 years, it's a little too lightweight for that, but then, we may not last another 20 years either. This can is attractive - unobtrusive and sleek.
