Refill Rack Sack Plastic Bags
These bags are the only thing I've found that really fits my Rack Sack--plastic grocery sacks don't fit right, and tend to break easily., and other styles of garbage bags are too narrow, too short, or otherwise just don't fit right. Although buying any garbage bag seems silly (paying money to throw it away?) if you have to buy them, get one that really does the job. These bags are strong, fit the rack sack perfectly, and with the new ties, they're even more convenient. I'm really sorry to hear the Rack Sack itself has been discontinued. It was a good solution for those of us with limited options for placing a garbage pail . I've had mine for nearly 20 years and it's still going strong.

Hard to Find Refills!
I had a hard time finding these refills locally! Container Store to the rescue. Not only did I find them close to home but the price was the lowest. I love that these bags are contained at the bottom of the rack - very handy! The plastic is thick enough to contain 3 gallons worth of wet, messy kitchen garbage.

Can't find these Bags anywhere else!
My mother-in-law gave me a Rack Sack and refill bags years and years ago for my extremely small kitchen. I've loved it and used it for years ... until I had a hard time finding refill bags. I tried plastic grocery sacks, but they don't fit well; I bought every small size plastic trash bag I could find -- nothing worked well at all. I did several on-line searches, and finally found them at the Container Store. Ordered several refill rolls for my MIL and myself. They are thick and strong and don't leak! Love them!

Great bags for our Simplehuman trash can!
We bought the Rack Sack 3-gallon and the 5-gallon bags for use in our Simplehuman stainless steel profile step trash can 10L (2-3/5 gallons). This trash can uses bigger sized grocery bags. After running low on bags since our city has started banning plastic bags at grocery stores, we had to do research on finding bags that fit our trash can. We've tried the Glad 4-gallon bags but they didn't fit well (a little bit undersized) and didn't have the handles for tying the bag closed. So when I found these, I've decided to order them and both sizes fit with our trash can. Phew! I hope they never discontinue these bags.
P.S. The 3-gallon sized bags fit better with our trash can than the 5-gallon sized bags.
