Found! Waste bin not showing plastic bag lining I have been looking for a waste bin that does not show plastic grocery bag lining. I found one on the internet but it was quite expensive, so I looked into Container Store offerings and I FOUND IT here! Plus the size is right for a waste bin under my work desk. This bin is also good for the kitchen/bathroom since there is a separate bucket which holds the plastic bag lining. Be mindful though only the black one will hide the lining, the white one is a bit translucent so the lining will show through. I also looked into the simplehuman profile pedal bin, however, I can still see the lining. In fact, I specifically asked for a plastic bag in the store to test it out. (For some reason when I requested a plastic bag from an employee, she refused to give one to me but instead asked me to bring the bins over to the cashier to test it out). I am extremely pleased with this product designed and made in Thailand. Thank you Container Store for bringing this product into the USA. It does make me wonder why it's so hard to find a similar item locally (A huge huge retailer in the USA has a similar one, but it's too small for my purpose). June 1, 2012

Perfectly Good for a Fraction of the Price All the other step cans are essentially similar, except that they cost several times more. This one works as well or better than any of the unaccountably expensive step cans I've owned. Its design is aesthetically pleasing and functional. The capacity is small enough to avoid accumulating too much over-ripe garbage. Don't use this for a commercial kitchen or anywhere you're going to create a lot of waste in a short span of time, but do consider it for most kitchens, bathrooms, or rooms where garbage or unsightly trash is generated.
