Handled Tool Holders

Our Handled Tool Holders are a handsome way to organize and store most types of handled tool. From mops and brooms in the utility area to rakes and shovels in the garage, these durable racks hold handles firmly in place using non-skid rubber contact points and the tension created by gravity. Just stick the handle up into the slot and release; the weight of the object will hold it in place. Made of plastic, they're suitable for outdoor use. They're so attractive, they'll be welcome in the kitchen, the utility room, or a mud room. Remember to keep placement of this item in mind as you plan your garage through our Plan A Space design tool.

Great broom organizer! Although I have three brooms, I got the large holder (5 slots) because I wanted to allow room for a dust pan to be attached to one of the brooms-- I'm glad I did this because I think the three-slot holder would have been too crowded with three brooms AND a dust pan. I chose this style because it looked like it was the easiest and fastest to remove and replace the brooms. It works perfectly-- the brooms slide in and out easily, and they stay in place. The brooms all have diameters between 3/4" and 1" and it works great for all three-- I've had it up for about a month, and so far, they don't slide down (as a previous reviewer complained). Looks like whatever you want to hang up would have to have a diameter between 5/8" (or maybe 3/4") and 1-1/2". The large holder has FIVE screws holes to attach it to the wall. Because the wall I wanted to attach this to is brick, I didn't want five holes in the masonry, so I made a wood base for it and attached the base to the wall with only two screws. So far, no problems. This is exactly what I was looking for and it's super-easy to use and install. March 18, 2013
Worked well at first I bought the bigger of the two to hang up brooms, swiffer handles, mops, etc. It worked well at first. Even though it was installed at an angle to promote the rolling parts to angle down, many of the rollers ended being stuck in the up position, so that it would not hold anything. So after a few months it was really unusable. I finally took it off the wall and still could not get the rollers to roll down. If it worked like it said it would it would have been fabulous but sadly it didn't. January 29, 2011
Totally Satisfied I've recommended this product for years as a great way to keep all the brooms, mops, etc off the garage floor. I've had them in all of my last three homes and have never had that big of an issue with installation. You do need an extenstion on your drill bit from what I remember as the screws are recessed, but if you have a drill you probably have an extension as well. I've never had the hardware pull out or the product fail. It's not going to transform you life or work magic, but I've always found it does what it is designed to do. I am totally satisfied with the product. May 23, 2010
Get your own mounting hardware Overall, I'm very happy with the tool holders -- now that they're up. But the mounting hardware is some pretty cheap stuff, which fell apart while I was trying to mount the holder to the wall. Save yourself some time. Go out and buy your own mounting hardware before you get started on the installation. You'll save yourself a lot of time. March 1, 2010
