Chrome Roll-Out Cabinet Drawers 4.9 5 233 233
Fantastic solution for your deep cabinets I recently received an email from The Container Store, and one of the featured items was the Chrome Roll-Out Drawer. I've been dreaming about a way to better organize our pantry space so that we could easily find the items we needed without having to move/remove so much stuff. After carefully measuring I bought the 17" wide model. It has plenty of surface area for large items, and it supports a bunch of weight and still rolls out very easily. We used some vinyl shelf liner on the bottom to keep jars and cans from sliding around and to add stability to smaller items such as cans of soup. The shelf drawer does take up about 4 inches of space so the tallest items may need to be relocated. I'd love to get another for the lower portion of the pantry. April 25, 2014
Now I Can Truly Use My Cabinets' Depth! One of the reasons for purchasing our home was the insanely large number of cabinets in our kitchen and their size. It was only after moving in that common sense settled in and we realized that we could only access the lower 2-3 shelves in the upper cabinets and the front 12-15 inches of the lower pantry shelves because of the depth. Anything that got inadvertantly pushed back beyond that point was lost for months. I've been searching for a slide out shelving system for 3 years that wouldn't break-the-bank, that would be sturdy enough for all my canned goods and that would reach the deep dark depths of my cabinet wasteland. Oh, and my cabinet openings are only 11 3/4 inches which added a whole other issue as lots of pull-out shelves require 12 inches or larger or are only 9 inches wide which would waste a different space. When I found these AND saw that they were on sale, I couldn't wait to get them home and try them out. They work beautifully! They each only took 10 minutes to install with a simple drill driver with a drill bit, a vacuum, and a screw driver. They glide in and out smoothly even when filled completely full with heavy canned goods and they look great in my cabinets especially since I have stainless appliances in my kitchen. My husband commented on how great they work and how professional the materials seem. I now have easy access to the entire storage area of my cabinets without breaking my back or getting down on my knees to try and dig an unknown out. No more losing groceries for me! April 30, 2010
Amazing, two years later and buying more! I have shown these off to everyone interested in organizing their kitchen. My mother and sister-n-law have bought these after my recommendation and loved theirs as well. I have half of my kitchen currently done, and I'm back two years later to buy for the remainder of my kitchen! The only objection is, I need to find a "spill cover" for the roll out that holds my deep fryer, and some of my smaller items. August 19, 2013
Installed six in less than 40 minutes! Taking advantage of our kitchen renovation (painting of existing cabinets required all of them to be emptied!), we decided to finally install roll-out drawers for our pots and pans. Once we installed two, we were hooked and ran out to get more. The drawers were easy to install and look like they will give us the added functionality and organization we need. April 6, 2014

Answer:
Although there is no quoted weight limit on our Chrome Roll-Out Cabinet Drawers, we can say that they are heavy-duty drawers that are equipped to hold nearly any item used in a kitchen cabinet. Our best recommendation is to evenly distribute the weight on the drawers.

Answer:
The measurements listed on our website are measured to the max width, depth, and height to ensure that they fit when our customers take them home.

While it may be a bit of a squeeze, it should fit within a 17.5'' wide space. If you are concerned that it is not suitable for your space, we recommend going down a size.

The shelf can be detached from the base for cleaning purposes. You will need a screw driver to separate the shelf.
