The Perfect Chair I used this chair on my balcony overlooking the ocean in Miami for three years. When my husband and I moved to Aspen, CO we had to downsize our furnishings. So, I brought these chairs inside and use them as dining chairs with a simple stainless steel bistro table. They look great, they're modern and comfortable. Nice for What It Is As Translucent implies, light shines thru the chair (not a solid white color). The legs are not shiny chrome (they're a matte nickel color). At $57 (chair, plus shipping, plus tax), in retrospect, I would have saved for a better quality piece of furniture for my computer chair). I had considered using it as a dining room chair, but it's too "cheap-looking" for a dining chair. The feet are just the curved base of the legs. If you have a floor you don't want to scratch, you may have to put pads on it. The good things: It is comfortable (the seat feels solid, the back flexes), the design is fun and good-looking and modern. It would be good for a kid's room. The legs taper toward the back of the chair (legs are closer together in the back than the front). Ways this chair could be more appealing: Manufacture it in the USA. Make the color a solid white (translucent looks cheap). Make plastic thicker (it's kind of thin and feels cheap). March 2, 2013
