Ivory Hughes Bins
I love this storage bin!
My husband and I just moved back to live with my mom in my childhood home as we await the arrival of our first baby. For the next few months my husband and I will be living in 1 room, sharing it with Baby, so organization is key (and is something I'm not very good at!). I found these Hughes crocheted storage containers at The Container Store and bought several (in different sizes), used them all, and loved them so much I went back and bought several more.
I cannot emphasize enough how terrific these bins are! I am using them in the baby's dresser to contain socks, booties, hats, bibs, pacifiers, onesies, sleepers, swaddle sacks, receiving blankets, burp cloths and bottles/accessories. The dresser looks SO organized - I'm kind of proud of it! This might sound strange, but it feels really good to know that everything has a home - and I think this will be really important once the baby is here and our emotions run haywire from exhaustion.
In addition to the enjoyment I get from these bins, they seem really practical. They are flexible so they hold things well, and also fit into cramped spaces well. Also, they collapse! This is huge, since we will be moving in a few months - all I need to do is fold them up and they lie flat.
As soon as I come up with additional uses, I'm headed back for a third round of buying these fantastic bins :) See pictures - note that I am using different sizes

cute and compact
Found these recently, and thought how how well it will work for small items.
Using now for cotton balls, q-tips, other toiletry items. Like that it's flexible and the khaki/grayish color! Good price too...

cute catch all
Very cute little catch-all basket. I bought 5 and lined them up on a deep windowsill in our living room to catch and sort little but important things that end up all over the house - each kid has one and they serve as a little "station" for things like cell phones etc that are otherwise lying around. 4 stars bc they do look a little unstructured and messy. If you have really formal decor, they may not work for you.
