Good shelves I purchased a big part of these shelves about 20 years ago...but never got around to finishing out the shelving. So glad Container Store has continued to carry this line of shelving. I was able to buy extras this many years later and complete my set. Good sturdy shelving, I have textbooks and yearbooks on it. October 5, 2012

love Skandia - have had for years BUT I have enjoyed the flexibility and minimum beauty of Skandia for years. I've moved 3 times in the past 7 years and they remain sturdy and adaptable to my changing configuration needs. My most recent move required that I expand my system. I was disappointed that end caps are no longer made/available for purchase, 2) the time it took to receive my order and 3) 1/3 of my shelf order had bent rods! I was barely able to use them, and in the process, wood was gorged. July 17, 2012

best purchase decision ever I bought the skandia shelving system in 2001 when I lived in San Antonio (tall and short uprights, 12"x40" shelves). I'm in the Air Force so I have moved around a lot since then...into different houses, townhouses, and condos...all with different floor plans. Over the years I have set up my bookshelves in different configurations to fit my different living spaces and I have gradually purchased more shelves and uprights. The decision to buy this adjustable shelving system was the best furniture purchase decision I have ever made...I'm very pleased with the look and strength of my bookshelves. September 4, 2011
