Simple and Easy Very quick assembly, but like any self-assembly furniture piece, wait to tighten all bolts until the end, and for these shelves specifically, in the position you want it since it is "Leaning", in order for all shelves to be parallel to one-another and look level. The overall look and quality is great for a self-assembly, poplar wood piece. The white was perfect for my niece's room. Sorry the photo is dark, but I wanted to show another example of how these shelves are a statement piece when paired, whichever finish you choose. The edges of the shelves do get scraped easy since the edges are not rounded, however because they are not rounded, it's no bid deal to touch up if needed! April 26, 2013

Love it! I needed some type of shelf system for my home office, and it needed to be an 'open' design since it was the first thing you see when walking thru the doorway. Perfect! It provides me with the needed storage, and yet doesn't make the small room (small bedroom, actually) crowded. The dark brown color is so dark it looks black, but it was better than the white for the office. And, it was simple to put together - I did it myself! April 21, 2013
