Large Expanding Shelf

The best way to maximize the space on virtually any shelf is to divide it vertically. Our Large Expanding Shelf is cleverly adjustable from 16-3/8" to 32-1/2", allowing you to use it on just about any length shelf. The two pieces can be used at right angles to each other to create a corner shelf in larger cabinets.

3 years and going strong! Bought this shelf almost 3 years ago to go in a very tight pantry I shared with 6 other girls. It gave us the double shelf we needed with out having to install anything! It then made its way into my freezer at my next apartment as another needed double shelf! It is the perfect height and length for most spaces. It is lightweight, durable, freezer and kid safe ( as its newest home is in my pantry making yet another double shelf used by my 6 year old step daughter and my husband.) By far the most veristile item I have bought from TCS and best of all, it blends right into any cabinet! Oh and it doesn't require any tools!! :) March 3, 2010
These help to organize absolutely everywhere! These work in so very many ways and in so many places. I use them in the upper cabinets, the lower cabinets, closets as well as the pantry. They can be used in a straight line or in an L configuration, and you can combine one base with two attachments for larger spaces while still using the leftover base by itself. They more than double your storage space and make it so easy to access things. March 3, 2010
space maximizer Easy to set up, this expandable shelf is perfect for my upper kitchen cabinet. Best of all, if I decide to rearrange my kitchen later on, I know it will fit another shelf! March 21, 2010

They're both included. One of the pieces has 4 legs, and one has 2 legs and 2 hooks that hook firmly onto the top of the other piece. The picture's accurate -- if you look you see a total of 6 legs between the 2 pieces.

I just bought this and I can't get the two pieces to lie flat together. Am I doing something wrong or should I exchange it? I was not planning to put anything heavy on top, and even so, wouldn't it just pop up again when I take stuff off (causing anything else to fall off)?

I have the same issue as the previous poster. I can't seem to get the 2 pieces to hook together in such a way that they lie flat. Am I supposed to bend the wires so that it does? That seems silly. If there is a trick, they should include instructions! Help!
