Platinum elfa Laundry Door & Wall Rack Solution 4.9 5 30 31
Love, love this product Brought the pantry system more than 6 years ago. Just got the laundry system for my girls bathroom. It stores all of their shampoos and other items. Items are in sight and frees up shelving in their linen closet. July 20, 2014
Great closet door storage I have three of these on the back of closet doors and they hold a lot of items, freeing up interior shelf space. You're taking wasted space and utilizing it efficiently. If I had another door that would accommodate one, I'd be back to purchase another. One thing I would caution, putting the vertical support on can be a bit of a trial. I found if I tilted the bottom slightly way from the door, it helped keep the top from falling off. Count to ten if you get frustrated. It is definitely worth it in the end. May 4, 2014
Replaced an entire linen closet We repurposed our main floor linen closet into a snug stacked laundry closet, but where to put the linen closet contents? We needed all the space we could get on the door, which meant adjustable shelving. Elfa gave us this, and the mounting hardware meant it would be completely hidden behind the door. But the best feature is actually not advertised--its metal construction can handle a ton of weight (read liquid detergent) without ever bowing or damaging the door. It's strong, minimalist, adjustable, and looks great! Who needs a linen closet when you have a door?! May 4, 2014
Great product for small spaces Not having a lot of space in the laundry area and in the pantry, this product came in real handy to store laundry detergent and products in the pantry. April 22, 2014

How deep is the overdoor hook?

My doors are slightly thicker than standard doors -- about 1-3/4" thick. Will the overdoor hook from which this system hangs be deep enough to accommodate my door?

All prices and descriptions seem identical. Is there any difference between them or are they just located in different sections on the website?

Many of them are quite similar with a few differences in basket components. We do sell the products by individual components, or you can also design your own Door & Wall Rack Tool on our website under the elfa section. If you need further assistance, please contact our customer solutions department or LiveChat with us.

I have a panel door, so the center is recessed from the border molding. Will it be secure if I mount it on the top and bottom only (where the molding is thicker), leaving a gap behind most of the length of the standard?
