disappointing quality This was my first Container Store purchase, and I was very surprised at and disappointed in the quality. The shelves are attractive, but the units are so flimsy that we couldn't assemble them or anchor them to the wall side-by-side so they'd be symmetrical, no matter how hard we tried. (See picture.) One of the side supports broke immediately, but the instructions say that replacing parts requires contacting a 3rd-party -- the manufacturer -- which would take far more time than we had. The main problem is that the holes drilled into the shelves are too small to easily accommodate the supports, so assembly was incredibly difficult. December 21, 2012

Great shelving I purchased two of these shelves. They look great and hold a ton of stuff. They were a little hard to put together because the holes were a little small and they had to be shimmed on the bottom, as they tilt forward. Luckily, my husband is a pro at this. April 23, 2012

Finally getting it together It has taken a couple of years, but my basement space for calligraphy and quilting is finally "together" The Wendel shelves allowed me to pickup the last of my plastic boxes and place them nicely on the shelves, easily accessible. I put it in my "office closet." January 21, 2012

Really good product This was purchased to help with storage in my closet and boy, does it ever do that! It is wonderful and combined with the carts (l got 3!) and the bookcase, l am good to go. l was very lucky to get the items in the recent shelving sale and that made a huge deal and really amounted to a lot of savings. It is so easy to put together. l did it all by myself in about 10 mins. No joking! Like the previous reviewer, l bought this in lieu of elfa and it works very, very well. Don't get me wrong, l love elfa too but l just didn't need to spend that much money! This is well worth the money and looks really greatDand is so useful. October 6, 2011
