ok shelving unit, no install directions I like this shelving unit, but it was a bit on the pricey side. I could have gotten sth like it for a lot less elsewhere, but it is sturdy. My gripe is putting it together. It is very easy to put together--once you figure it out, but that is only possible thru trial and error (that is, a waste of time). The plastic pieces holding the individual shelves will only snap together around the pole and support the shelf, if the larger side is facing down, and the narrower part is facing up (with the poles standing on the ground as the unit would). The larger part is only slightly larger and it took me a while to figure it out. This could be rendered unnecessary if a simple description would have accompanied the unit!! December 16, 2010
