great value for the style I bought a couple of these stylish shelving towers for use as end tables to my sofa in my living room. I ended up liking them so much, I bought another four and gifted them to family members. I've seriously received at least a half dozen complements from friends and family. I'm moving to a bigger place this summer and plan to buy the entire classics lines collection to organize my living room and bedroom/closet. I LOVE the Container Store!!! April 19, 2012

I use these in conjunction with the black and white corrugated magazine files to store music under my piano. It's perfect for low shelving in tight spaces and looks really neat and orderly. I did think they would be a solid black finish, and it's got some lighter flakes in its finish, but it still looks good. Also, they're not exactly stable - there are some screws to add to keep them square after you buy them, but for some reason I could still push them out of their square shape even after adding the screws. For my use, they're perfectly stable, but perhaps someone putting things on top of them would find them to be a little too flexible. March 22, 2012
