We have many of these components and most of the storage in our apartment is in these cubes. My husband and I love the white perforated doors in addition to the steel ones because it adds a soft yet clean look. Having all steel doors looked too "lockery" and industrial. The white adds warmth and a certain elegance and reduces the harshness of so much exposed steel. They are not initially easy to assemble but if you do enough of these, you'll get the hang of it. My hubby recommends having a rubber mallet handy for assembling some of the QBO parts. We so love these we now use it for my new office too.

Love the locker look!
These cubes are great. They are built well and sturdy and can be used to solve any number of storage problems. When we added the perforated doors it gave us that "locker" look we wanted and they just look cool. Not too hard to assemble. The doors take a bit of extra muscle but my husband got that part of the job. Just move slow and be careful not to scratch the enameled finish. I also did not have to take apart the cubes which we bought first - we added the doors weeks later. Just a rubber mallet is needed to pop up the top and then use your hand to do the rest.

Tough to Assemble
I bought 15 doors for a 3x5 wall unit. The installation is still tough even I figured out how to do it after the first door. To fit one end to hole, you need to use two hands: one bends the middle to direction of the door's edge, the other holds back the end so eventually the tip of steel wire will line up with the hole on the door. To put the door into the cube, push down the bottom hole first, for the other hinge, press the wire to retreat to the level of plastic then push in and line up the edge to make the top hole lined up. After painful installation, I am satisfied with the whole unit.
