Add our Cotton Canvas Cover to one of our InterMetro® Shelving solutions to create a free-standing wardrobe or storage armoire. The breathable canvas is made from thicker, more durable 12 ounce cotton material than is commonly found elsewhere. The cover fits easily over an 18" x 48" x 74-1/2" InterMetro® Shelving solution - with casters or without. A full-length, two-way zipper provides easy access to the interior. It's designed to be used with our InterMetro® Garment Rack, Starter Unit, Kitchen Shelf Unit or Media Center .

Cotton Canvas Cover Container Store sells it for the 3-foot Intermetro garment rack, but it fits the Alera 3-foot garment rack I have just as well. I like it a lot because: I can open it from the top or bottom, It's natural colored cotton, so it breathes, keeps the dust off my stuff. The only thing I was hoping for that this doesn't have is a bottom. Then it would be pest-proof too. But the cover CS has that does have a bottom is really for the garage or basement, not your bedroom. This has a much more finished look. The other garment racks that have covers with bottoms are not as nice as this one. March 18, 2013

DON'T WASH THE COVER! Don't wash the cover unless you want an ill-fitting cover that is reminiscent of Denise Huxtable's Gordon Gartrell knockoff shirt. The covers were washed in cold water and line dried. There was no reason for the extreme shrinkage. The top no longer sits flush, the length is a minimum 5-6" short all around, and the paneled zipper flaps are pulled so tight in area that it bubbles. I am so dissatisfied. Pre-wash, I thought the canvas covers were great and was recommending to everyone. Post-wash, I think it is a poor product and shame on The Container Store for not noting that the product would shrivel up upon touching water. June 11, 2012

This is truly a purchase that really works I love it when a plan comes together and works and this one works. I needed to get my extensive seed bead collection organized into a workable situation. I purchased a tall metal shelving unit on wheels to house the organized beads. BUT this was in the garage SO I needed to protect them from dust . Walla! The zippered clothes closet cover was ordered. Wow! It works PERFECTLY. My beads and jewelry tools are kept in a protected place. It looks neat in the garage and I am a happy camper. I will be purchasing more of this combo. I love it! !
